Dr. Parikh is the best dentist I have been to in Houston/Sugarland area. She is very knowledgeable and friendly; her staff is friendly as well. She took a holistic approach to determine my teeth's condition and then gave recommendations on how to improve and maintain dental health. I will recommend everyone to go to Dr Parikh and will definitely be taking my family there.

This dentist didn't greet me upon entering the area where I was waiting for her and was judging me the entire time I was in her office. She tried to have her assistant do several X-rays on teeth I didn't come to have serviced. She suggested several more expensive procedures instead of performing the procedure for which I was scheduled. When I didn't agree to the more expensive procedures, She told me she had to leave for vacation and couldn't perform the scheduled services for me after I had been waiting. I am very dissatisfied with the level of disrespect I received and the immense amount of negative judgement I received from this dentist. People do not go to medical professionals to be made to feel less than human.

I visited Dr. Parikh for a regular checkup and cleaning. I had no pain or dental problems before I went to see her except some cold sensitivity on right side which went away after wisdom tooth extraction. She suggested I need 4 fillings (tooth #3, 12, 13 and 19). She said fillings for tooth #3, 12 and 13 are very small fillings, not deep, only 19 is deep filling. While she was doing the fillings, I felt heavy vibrations from her drill which seemed very unusual to me as I never felt that in any of the fillings before. After the fillings were done, I was feeling sharp pain in tooth #3 when I used to eat and also some pain in tooth #12, 13 on eating crunchy food. Tooth #3 was more troubling so I went to the dentist again and asked her to check. She said she can redo the filling as it could be a bonding issue. The problem didn't go away after redo. I told her to check again and asked her to see if there is a crack. She didn't think there would be any crack. She removed the filling and found a small cracked part, she removed the cracked part and put a temporary filling. She said the crack was small and it's removed so the pain should be better. That didn't solve the problem completely though. She recommended me to see an endodontist. The endodontist did the pulp vitality test and took more X-rays but didn't see any problem with the tooth. Dr. Parikh suggested to change the filling to silver one to see if it helps. I went to see another dentist, she told me I have 2 different types of filling in my tooth #3 which was very surprising for me. As per my old dentist, she removed all composite filling but looks like part of composite filling was still present, she never removed it completely. When the new dentist removed both composite and silver filling, there was another crack below the filling. Due to the negligence of my Dr. parikh, the crack became worse over the time and after removing the cracked part of the tooth, it was noticed the pulp was half dead and I had to get a Root canal done on that tooth. I was having no troubles before with my teeth and I ended up having Root Canal on the tooth for no reason, all because of negligence of my Dr. Parikh. In the meantime, I visited another dentist for the trouble on tooth 12 and 13 as they were not feeling perfect either and showed the X-rays to him. After looking at the X rays and the tooth, he mentioned that all 3 fillings (12, 13 and 19) are not done correctly and he explained why they are not good. There was a gap between tooth 12 and 13 meaning the contours and finishing were not done properly and filling on tooth 19 has leakage, the contact between the tooth and the filling was never closed properly, meaning bacteria can get in and damage it further. So all the fillings will have to be taken out to see if there are any other issues. Basically, I went from having no dental problems to having lots of dental problems because of my Dr. Parikh who did terrible work in drilling and filling the tooth. I have already spent a fortune and will be spending more on the dental work needed to fix the harm done.

Great ambience! Dr. Parikh and her staff give you a really homely experience. Her new clinic is state of the art. I came here because the cap on one of my teeth had come off. She explained the treatment to me and exactly what needed to be done. In 2 visits, I had my new cap! I recommend her to everyone. A very good experience:)
