Doctor Zimmerman and crew are more than just professionals They have went above and beyond to help me and my teeth issues. Doctor Zimmerman is an exemplary dentist Minimal pain and perfect work I would recommend him to anyone. Also a good conservative.

Had a wonderful experience the staff is wonderful you'll get beautiful dentures made I recommend it very highly I am so happy with mine thank you so much doctor and your staff again I thank you for a beautiful set of teeth to make my smile look wonderful

Absolutely amazing! I broke a crown in half late Friday night and Dr. Z had me fixed up before lunch Saturday. He discussed my options and provided his recommendation, covering what led to the broken crown and how to correct it right. I'll be sticking with Dr. Z for myself and my wife going forward. I cant recommend him enough!

I can't thank Dr Z and his staff enough!! I needed an after hours appointment for a sudden dental issue, and then emergency surgery 4 days later. With one phone call to Dr Z , he made arrangements for himself and another staff member to come in on a holiday and do my surgery due to my excruciating pain. Not only are Dr Z and his staff incredibly knowledgeable, but kind hearted and reassuring as well. I can't thank you all enough for taking me under your wing in my time of crisis and treating with such compassion.

Absolutely amazing!! Everyone was kind and made me feel comfortable while I was nervous. The Dentist was so kind while cleaning my teeth to make sure I wasn't in any pain (sensitive gums & teeth). He even gave me tips and pointers to practice better home care until my next appointment!

Absolute lifesavers! My mom had a terrible tooth ache on a Sunday morning, right before she was supposed to go on her anniversary. Dr. Zimmerman got her in that day for an evaluation and in the next day for the procedure. She's never been more happy with a dentist before.

I WENT A COAST DENTAL FOR A EXTRACTION, THE RESULTS WERE DEVASTATING. I SUFFERED A DRY SOCKET DUE TO THE DENTIST INCOMPETENCE. AFTER A YEAR OF PAIN, I WAS REFFERED THREW A CLIENT THAT DR ZIMMERMAN WAS THE BEST DENTIST NEAR MY LOCATION. HE CURED MY DENTAL PAIN WITH A SURGERY PROCEDURE. HES A PROFFESSIONAL DOCTOR AND I WILL ALWAYS SEE HIM FOR ALL MY DENTAL NEEDS. I THANK GOD FOR GETTING TO FIND THIS DOCTOR VERY GREATFULL TO HIS OFFICE AND WONDERFULL STAFF. THANK YOU DR ZIMMERMAN

I am truly moved by Dr Zimmerman's ethical bedside manner! I have spent over $53k between the age of 30-44yrs old trying to overcome a bad relationship with my teeth. I decided to get veneers and that's where my horror story begins. Over the next 10 yrs I would loose teeth like a bad dream and when I begged the dentist to explain why this was happening, I couldn't get a answer just another bill for another crown. By the age of 44yrs old, I went to Dr David & Associates and was finally told once the statue of limitations was up "why" I was about to loose what little teeth I had left as well as the rest of the crowns that had rotted nubs beneath them. I can't begin to explain the darkness one will go into when they are not only loosing a smile that has cost a small fortune but also the fact that I am recently divorced and now I have to wear dentures? That is a enough to take me to a straight jacket and then some. I had a terrible experience with Dr David & Associates and although I paid in full for dentures I had only received the temporary and was refused a full refund for the rest! As the years pass on & I continue to try to find a way to fix my cracked dentures, without any luck, I reached out to Dr Zimmerman's office by email. Today is a Saturday and I received a call from DR ZIMMERMAN HIMSELF! NOT HIS NURSE, NOT HIS ASSISTANT, NOT HIS STAFF, DR ZIMMERMAN HIMSELF CALLED ME TO DISCUSS MY CURRENT SITUATION AND OFFERED TO HELP ME!!!! He didn't rush me off the phone, he actually took over 45mins out of his day with his family to call me!! I am so truly grateful for Dr Zimmerman's time and his passion for helping people and his ability to see past the $$ signs!! In all the years I have spent in a dentist office, countless hours in expensive procedures, NOT ONCE HAS A DENTIST EVER CALLED ME & DR ZIMMERMAN, WHO HAS NEVER MET ME, CALLED ME ON A SATURDAY!!!! I am beyond grateful for Dr Zimmerman and God himself, I feel blessed & I have not stopped crying tears of joy he called today!! May God rain blessings on you and your family and staff for the rest of your days!

My experience with both long and short visits have been pleasant and comforting when getting dental work from Dr Zimmerman. There is something to be said when you have a personal one on one relationship between patient and caregiver that small over night institutions don't provide. This has allowed me to have confidence in my treatment and knowing the recommendations the DMD provides is best and most necessary for my path to a healthy mouth. I would recommend Dr. Zimmermans office to not only those who have had a bad experience in the past but to those who are seeking to begin a new treatment plan with someone who is excellent at what they do and really enjoys to build relations with clients!

Nothing but the most professional service from the dentist to the staff. Dr Zimmerman constantly takes his time to ensure that I understand every aspect of the dental process. I have been going to the Smile Resort for about a year and have nothing but praise.

I'm so glad i found this office! the services and staff are amazing and friendly. HIs hygienist, Cori is amazing,! I have never had a one on one with a a clinician who was able to explain every little detail in my mouth like she has. and actually making sense of it. Dr Zimmerman is one of the few dentist left who actually do dental work the right way. He is very informative and educational but what i liked more was that he was realistic about treatment. This is the type of office that you get what you pay for, and anything good isn't cheap. Thank you Dr. Z

Dr. Rod Zimmerman (Dr. Z) and his son Dr. Frank have given me wonderful care for some very serious dental work and treatment. Catering to cowards is why I first saw Dr. Z many many years ago and it is the reason I am currently willing to drive from an hour away. I am seriously afraid of dental work, and they and their staff treat me with much care and compassion. They put me at ease and make sure I am comfortable in all respects. They do excellent work and the staff is superb. I highly recommend this wonderful team. I would give them 10 stars if I could!

UPDATE (3/20/21): I did get a call from Dr. Z on a Saturday afternoon several weekends ago, apologizing about the miscommunication and problematic appointment notification system put in place, which failed when my six-month cleaning was approaching in late February. He invited me to reschedule my cleaning with him, which I did and came in the following Friday. The cleaning was quick (less than an hour) and I was able to get on with my Friday afternoon. In this situation, I appreciate the fact that Dr. Z and his staff stepped up, admitted they had problems and did what they did to correct them and make good for me. We're all human and mistakes will be made at times, so I've revised my rating to five stars and chalk this up to human error. And I did get my six-month appointment reminder by email the week after I scheduled it. :) ORIGINAL REVIEW: I've been going to Dr. Zimmerman's office since 1997 when I moved to Jacksonville. During my last cleaning in late 2020, I got a very hard-core press from Dr. Z and the new hygienist to begin a series of "deep cleanings," which struck me as odd since I'd never had a problem with my teeth or a cavity in my life and my cleanings were pretty much standard yawn sessions. After my cleaning I signed up for my regular 6-month interval appointment, which was supposed to be 2/22/21. For this appointment, I never got a reminder call, email or text, which are their normal ways of confirming your appointment. When I called the office that morning to see what was going on, about 8 a.m., I got an answering machine, which again struck me as odd since it was a Monday morning. No one ever called me back from my message, and it's a week later. I don't see any indication online -- via their outdated social media or their website -- that they are closed, but I can't help but wonder if that hard-core press to begin deep cleanings was a last-ditch effort to earn some business and stay open. Anyway, I'm looking for a new dentist now. I wish they had been honest and communicated with some transparency, whether they're open or not.

Dr. Z and his entire staff are totally professional and have taken the extra time to explain all procedures to alleviate any fears or concerns that I had for extensive dental work. Thank you ALL !!

Dr. Z was awesome! He saw me on a Sunday with an emergency without a problem. He cares about doing it the right way and making sure you know the best options. Wish more dentist were more like him!

I'd love to give a zero but it's not an option. My sister went to a smile resort for a cleaning. They informed her that she would need a deep cleaning. She asked what the options were as far as pain killers and was told she should do injections. My sister took 5 needles and now has lock jaw. At this time she still has it. It's been 3 weeks now and she is on a completely liquid diet and totally miserable. The office reccomended a specialist, but when she called,the specialist said they do not deal with tmj. Smh. I have canceled my own appointment with this group based upon my sister suffering. I highly recommend you go with another dental office.

6/21/2021 - Wanted to add to my previous review. My husband and I were in the middle of dental work when the Covid lockdown happened so everything had to wait.Dr. Zimmerman went out of his way to move schedules to get us back in to the office and back on track for needed care. We feel the care and consideration of his patients is clearly very important to Dr. Z and we feel so fortunate to have him as our dentist! What i said below, still definitely applies. Dr. Zimmerman is an exceptional dentist and has an outstanding staff. Their 1st concern is the patient's well being, safety, comfort and the completion of all the dental needs.

I am here visiting from Wisconsin and woke up on a Sunday morning to terrible tooth pain. My husband called many dentist, desperate to find help for me, as not to ruin our family trip with our 5 children. I knew we were doomed. Everyone knows if you do not have dental history with a provider, you tend to get no help. As well, why would any dentist come in on a Sunday, to help a tourist who would never be back in the area anyways?? No one bothered to return our call except for Dr. Z! He meant with me immediately. He was kind, friendly and extremely professional. I truly wish I lived in the area just so he could be my full-time dentist. Thank you Dr. Z.

I get anxious over all dental appts but Dr Zimmerman makes the experience much easier. His office ensures every patient receives the care they need and isn't treated as just another patient along the assembly line. When gas wouldn't do, Dr Z went a step further and prescribed sedation for my procedure, he's very thorough and attentive. He even called, personally, afterwards to see how I was doing. No one is treated as just another patient; they take the time to know every patient and it's obvious they truly care for each one. The best dentist I've had in my 66yrs of life.
