We accept all PPO and some HMO dental insurance plans. We are continually adding new insurance plans to be able to offer the best care and service for the best price possible. We always allow parents to come back with their children during routine dental procedures, ensuring both patient and parent are comfortable during their dental experience.

Dr. Lexie has practiced as a general dentist for six years in Canada and found that her passion was working with children. Her desire was to provide the best possible care for children, so she went back to school in her thirties to specialize in Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Connecticut. In 2003, she moved to New Port Richey, Florida, where she started working between offices in New Port Richey, Clearwater and Plant City. In her own words, I have been blessed and honored to have the opportunity to be a part of the team at A Safari Dental.

We love this dentist! My kids have been going here since they were toddlers and the care has always been top notch. The hygienist staff is gentle and kind. My daughter has had a spacer and a few fillings and she does amazing. The dentists make quick work. I trust their opinion. They include you in the consult and decisions and I never feel pushed into any treatment. Highly recommend. Mom of two kids - boy and girl.

Weve been coming here for a while now and they're so great with our son! They explain every step of the cleaning and exam to mom and dad and also to the little one! They give you cool sunglasses so the light doesn't hurt the eyes and also give you prizes after! They're very personable.

My daughter came in for treatment and Courtney assisted Dr. Brandon. My daughter thought that Courtney was so nice and thoughtful. She was very patient with us and our questions and was even comforting her while she was getting the injection to numb the area. She was so caring and definitely made the experience less stressful.

Where do I begin? My 7 yo developed pretty severe dental anxiety a couple years ago, not really sure why. We were going to No sugar bugs club every 3 months ( the dentist suggested this to try and get my son more comfortable with the process). The staff there was great, the dentist, not so much. Let's just say his bedside manner needed some work. They wanted to put a mouth full of caps in my kids mouth after just 3 months prior telling me his teeth were fine. I was freaking out. Sought out a second opinion from A Safari Dental. The dental assistant who was taking care of my son couldn't have been more perfect for the job. Paige spent THIRTY MINUTES simply talking to my very anxious little man. Letting him hold the xray films, play with gloves, watch lizards out the window, etc. She made him feel so comfortable that he actually let her take all the xrays she needed with no issues at all. This kid cried every time I mentioned the dentist prior to this. The dentist came in with the same demeanor as Paige and again, he was completely cooperative. I was floored. I have been dealing with panic attacks for two years any time we had to see a dentist and this kid was laughing and smiling when we left. It was nothing short of a miracle. Oh and after xrays, my son had NOT ONE CAVITY. Just a little staining on his teeth. They gave me a prescription fluoride toothpaste to use nightly. I can't thank the entire staff enough but especially Paige, who literally had the patience of a saint. We finally found an amazing dentist.
