Dr. Tim Herman graduated from the UCSF School of Dentistry in 1988. He has been practicing dentistry at A+ Dental Care in Roseville and Lincoln since January of 1989 and became one of the owners of the practice in January 1993. Dr. Herman enjoys practicing dentistry with the great group of doctors at A+ Dental Care and looks forward to the future of dentistry and continuing to provide quality dental care to patients.
Dr. Abdon Manaloto has been apart of the A+ Dental Care Team since 1995. He was raised in the San Francisco Bay Area and graduated from the University of California, San Francisco School of Dentistry.
Dr. Tania Nelson-Chrystal graduated with honors from UCLAs Dental school. Dr. Nelson-Chrystal accepted a position in the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery program at the University of Maryland at Baltimore and the R. Adam Cowley Shock Trauma Center. This prestigious program is world-renowned in trauma surgery, head and neck reconstruction, and microvascular surgery. During her six-year residency, Dr. Nelson-Chrystal also obtained her Medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine.
Dr. Kayla Nguyen is a graduate from UC Davis and UC San Francisco. Dr. Nguyen is a Sacramento native who now resides in Roseville, since joining A+ Dental Care in 2002. She has advanced training in cosmetic dentistry from the Northern California Institute of Cosmetic Dentistry and is certified by the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation. She enjoys improving patients smiles and helping patients overcome their dental fears. She also has special interests in Oral Surgery, implant and laser dentistry. Dr. Nguyen enjoys working with patients of all ages.
Dr. Flaviane Petersen has advanced training in dental implants, cosmetic dentistry, sleep apnea splint, Botox for TMJ related pain and is also certified in Oral Conscious Sedation. Dr. Petersen loves to change peoples lives by improving their smiles and overcoming their dental fears. Dr. Petersen is very active in the community.
Dr. Christopher Cooper is a graduate of Vanderbilt University and the University of Florida. Dr. Cooper practiced dentistry for four years in the Navy and is a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom. He joined A+ Dental Care in 2004 and lives in Rocklin with his wife and kids. Dr. Cooper enjoys providing excellent dental care for all of his patients and loves creating great dental experiences for children. Dr. Cooper is an avid sports fan and enjoy skiing, softball, basketball and spending time with his family.
After graduating from New York University College of Dentistry in 2003, Dr. Henry Dean served as chief resident at Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, New York. He worked as an associate dentist for several years before deciding to open his own practice. Wanting to be closer to family, he and his wife moved to northern California and now calls A+ Dental Care his home. Dr. Dean is committed to providing the best care possible for his patients through extensive postdoctoral continuing education in cosmetic dentistry, prosthodontic and implantology.
Dr. Ayat Elsherif B.A., B.Dent.Sc, MFDS RCSEd, DDS, graduated as a dentist from Trinity College Dublin, Ireland in 2010 and subsequently completed an optional year of Foundation Training with the Northern Deanery in the UK. She then completed a year as a senior house officer in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Oxford University Hospital, UK. She then returned to Ireland and worked as an associate dentist in her hometown of Dublin before relocating to California with her husband. Ayat completed her second dental degree at the prestigious Dugoni School of Dentistry, University of the Pacific in San Francisco graduating with honors in 2017. She has since worked as an associate in Sacramento where she lives with her husband and two children.
Dr. Robert Ash has been a part of the A+ Dental Care team since 2019. He grew up in Syracuse, New York, and studied physics in college at Binghamton University. Dr. Ash received his dental degree from USC.
Dr. Rahmani graduated from Dental school in 2007 from one of the top universities in Iran. She ran her private practice for about 7 years before moving to America and continuing her dental education at the prestigious University of Washington. Throughout her professional career, Dr. Rahmani has kept herself updated on the latest advances in dentistry. As part of the process of continuing her educational and professional growth, Dr. Rahmani has completed many supplemental courses in the area of cosmetics, implants, endodontics, and Orthodontics. She has 2 US patents in the Dental Implant field. She joined A+ Dental Care in 2020 and her mission is to provide patients with the same dental care as she would deliver to her family members.

I loved my Oakland dentist so when I moved to Roseville, I was a little nervous about finding a new one. Not only did I find an amazing dentist (with a fantastic team) but they take my insurance AND they're just a few blocks away! I love that this office takes COVID seriously and enforces masks and sanitization too. I've had only good experiences and recommend this place to anyone who asks.

Terri the hygienist is so great with my kiddos! 6yrs, 10yrs, 12yrs!! She is patient and kind. My husband and I have been going to A+ Dental for 9yrs now! They are great! Receptionist, hygienist and dentist!

Great experience, extremely thorough and detailed description of work that needs to be done, and understanding of what I need to pay attention to regarding potential future issues. Hygienist was also very fast and thorough.

Very professional office! My new dental office as of today! I called early this morning for a new patient emergency appointment, they got me in right away and Dr.Baban and her whole entire team are so nice and professional, I have extreme dental anxiety and they always put me at ease! Thanks again!

Your team did a wonderful job. The front staff work very professionally through my insurance confusion. Your x-ray tech was very friendly and pleasant as she efficiently got the pictures handled. Dr. Man was spot on in getting my stubborn tooth extracted. His assistant, Reyna (sp?) wins the prize though. She was so tuned into my anxiety and repeatedly check in with me, at just the right time, throughout the entire procedure. Thank you for making my experience as comfortable and positive as possible.

My Wife Tamara visited A+Dental Care today in the Roseville on Foothills Blvd. She met Dr. Rahmani, which she really liked. The Dr usually works in the Folsom location. She was very patient and understanding concerning her dental needs. She outlined a process which my wife felt very comfortable with. She's a definite 5/5!

Dave just got home from his appointment with Dr. Petersen and as always she did a superb and careful job. Everyone in the office is always very kind and helpful and we appreciate the office using all of the safety protocols to keep everyone safe and well

I'm very unhappy with the quality of work. I had to go to another dentist to have their work corrected. Another problem was, they charged me the entire amount, they told me that it is my portion come to find out that my insurance paid 80% of the full amount. Had I not called my insurance, I probably won't know that my portion is only 20% of the total amount of their service. I called the manager 3 weeks ago to get my refund back because I need to pay another dentist to correct the problem but I'm getting the ran around. It's been 3 weeks and I'm still waiting for my refund. These people have no sympathy for people who lost their job due to Covid. Quality of work is very bad not mention, the manager lied to me regarding payment of service. I'm Asian, I'm new to this area, I don't want to think that I was discriminated.

I've been using A Plus Dental for many years now and have developed a good relationship with both Dr. Cooper and Laurie my Dental Hygienist. In fact I followed them when they moved their location from Lincoln Hills to Rocklin. The entire team are very professional and today during my visit I was equally impressed with Tiffanie who works the front office and really on the ball and very customer focused. It's always a pleasure visiting and they have taken extreme care with their clients and the protocols they have established during this pandemic. Thank you, Pat
