J. Kyle House, D.D.S.received his D.D.S. degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and served as a General Dentist in the US Army. While stationed in Giessen, Germany, he was given the opportunity to treat children and discovered that pediatrics was clearly his favorite field. He attended his Pediatric Dental Residency at Madigan Army Medical Center, Fort Lewis, Washington and the University of Washington. After leaving the Army, he spent five years as the Director of Pediatric Oral Medicine at Scott & White Hospital Systems in Temple, Texas. Dr. House completed his Pediatric Dental Board Certification in April 1996. In 1999, he moved to Oregon to open his private practice in Hood River, which has expanded to five clinics (three in Oregon and two in Washington).

Dr. House's main concern is advocacy and access to care for children. He has served on numerous local, state, regional and national organizations that work to improve children's access to dental care, and has testified on behalf of children on a national level, providing medical information to lawmakers. In addition, Dr. House is a Consultant to the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and has assisted in providing their Oral Clinical Exams since 2006.

Dr. House enjoys being an active part of the community and spending time with his wife, Jill, and his three daughters. His latest project is developing a vineyard and learning about winemaking and viniculture. He likes being outdoors and loves to cook, creating imaginative breakfasts, and like a true Texan can explain the critical differences between grilling and barbecue.

Dr. Renelle Conner is enthusiastic about providing excellent orthodontic care for children, teens, and adults. I love working with people and changing smiles. Changing a smile, builds confidence. Building confidence for a person, changes their life! My career as an Orthodontist allows for a beautiful melding of biology, chemistry, psychology and art, which I utilize to feed my passion for creating beautiful smiles in confident faces.

Dr. Conner grew up in a small town in Washington. She earned a Bachelors of Science degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Eastern Washington University. After obtaining a bachelors degree she went on to excel in dental school, earning a Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree, from the University of Washington. Following dental school, Dr. Conner received a Masters in Orthodontics from A.T. Still University- Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health.

I have been in Hood River area since 1988, and have been lucky enough to work with A Kidz Dental Zone since 2006. My Family and I have a strong community interest and love growing with Hood River as it changes. My favorite thing is being a parent, being active, and playing with my dogs. I love working with kids! I enjoy reaching out in the community and educating families on dental care, dental protection and nutrition for dental health. Working with kids on a daily basis either at work or outside of work is definitely rewarding. My favorite time of year is fall, especially in the gorge.

Hi! My Name is Alondra Gomez and Im the schedule coordinator at AKDZ since August 2014. Being part of AKDZ, I enjoy working with families and ensuring they have a positive visit. Outside of work, I enjoy going on adventures with my kids. We like to go on road trips, exploring the gorge and watching movies. Our favorite toothpaste is Sparkle Fun by Crest.

Hello, my name is Alicia. I also go by Ali, and I am the Insurance & Financial Coordinator for A Kidz Dental Zone in Hood River! I began my career in healthcare in 2002. I then transitioned to the dental field in 2015 before joining the team at AKDZ. I enjoy nature walks, cooking with my kids, and spending time with my family and friends.

Hello my name is Esmeralda I am the Scheduling Coordinator at A Kidz Dental Zone in Hood River since March of 2021. I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, the outdoors, and baking at home. My favorite part of being a team member for a AKDZ is that everyday is an experience, and a great opportunity to learn something new. I am excited to see all the amazing kiddos. Hello, I am Sharla, the Practice Manager for A Kidz Dental Zone in The Dalles! My entire career has been in Health Care Marketing and Operations, having worked in hospitals, a rehab center, medical clinics, and in Assisted Living and Memory Care. Following my passion for healthcare, I earned a bachelors degree in Health Care Administration from Warner Pacific University and will begin pursuing an MBA in the Fall of 2022. I am thrilled to be part of the compassionate and committed AKDZ team, contributing to healthy and beautiful smiles in such a fun environment!

When the days are done loving those smiles, I enjoy hiking with my dogs, doing home projects and cooking with my husband, reading, watching documentaries, painting abstracts, travel, and spending time with family and friends.

My name is Natalie, I have been a Dental Assistant since 2007 and LOVE IT!! I worked primarily with adults for some time, and have found my home working with kids at A KIDZ DENTAL ZONE. When I'm not busy having fun with my patients, I am busy having fun with my son Daniel. We enjoy, pizza, movies, swimming and sun! Native to the Columbia Gorge my son and I also enjoy hiking, playing in the river, and stand up paddle boarding. And on clear nights you can find us star gazing, our favorite constellations are The Big Dipper and Cassiopeia!

Hello, my name is Sabrina, I started working at A Kidz Dental Zone of The Dalles in June of 2016 as the Insurance Coordinator. I was born and raised in The Dalles. I am a mother of two beautiful kids. I love that I get to work with an amazing group of people and be able to see all the smiling faces coming through the door each and every day.
