Very positive and comfortable experience. I am the daughter of a San Diego dentist who sends his patients to Dr. Tengonciang for root canals. When it came time for my first root canal, my dentist dad sent me to Dr. Tengonciang with an expression of complete confidence in his skill. His office is well run by friendly, efficient and communicative staff, and Dr. Tengonciang's procedural technique is impressive. I was surprisingly relaxed and quite comfortable for the entirety of the procedure. He is a capable endodontist who takes skillful care of his patients. I am grateful and can highly recommend Dr. Tengonciang.

I was surprisingly relaxed and quite comfortable for the entirety of the procedure. He is a capable endodontist who takes skillful care of his patients. Dr. Jayson is a highly skilled and compassionate doctor. I was sent on an emergency and he made time for me and stayed late. He made sure that I was constantly comfortable through out the procedure which he performed completely and perfectly. His office staff are amazing as well. The afternoon I came, the assistant was caring and helpful. I had some questions afterwards and discomfort and I contacted the office on a Sunday as I was flying Monday morning for an unexpected funeral, and Dr. Jayson called me back immediately and ordered the medication I needed. While heading to the airport, I had a few questions and another assistant took the time to speak with me on the phone and answer all my questions as he was in surgery. She was kind and compassionate with my situation as well as knowledgable. I highly recommend Dr. Jayson and his team.

I was recommended by my dentist with an infection in a previous root canal and crown. I was afraid of an abscess which might require extraction. Dr Tengonciang was able to redo the root canal through the crown and medicate the infection. He explained everything he was doing, and there was really no discomfort during the procedure. I would highly recommend Dr Tengonciang to anyone in need of root canal work. Color me satisfied.

My recent experience in this office has been wonderful--every aspect from the front office to the work done by Dr. T. This is my 4th or 5th time in my life and this office has exceeded any other in quality of procedure, reasonableness of fee and start to finish professionalism. As a Psychologist, I give them the highest rating for user friendly service.

Awesome. Explains what he's doing and why and he stopped me from having the worst pain I've ever experienced with a tooth. I was super happy. Nice office and workers.

If you need some serious dental work like a root canal or other endodontics I would highly recommend Dr tengonciang, the office is clean and the assistants and the front desk was so helpful with everything. Dr t was awesome, I felt no pain from a root canal so definitely go see them.

I was referred here by my dentist after I was told I needed a root canal and even though I knew it was the better option, I was also worried that I would be paying a lot more than I thought but I still decided to go because of all the other reviews. The price was absolutely reasonable. I'm glad I came here because I would rather pay once and get it perfect the first time. It's been over a week without any major issues and I would definitely come here again as long as my insurance covers me as it did the first appointment. Also there is a lot of respect and honesty by all I've met at Dr. Tengonciang's office.

I must start out by saying that prior to coming to see Dr. Tengonciang I was very TERRIFIED to go to the dentist. It had been at least 10 years since I had last went to a dentist. I went to another endodontist a couple weeks prior, but I didn't feel comfortable so I decided to try again. I am SO glad that I decided to give Dr. Tegnonciang a try! I'm telling you, don't be scared to come here. The entire staff is amazing and I'm sure your fears will melt away like mine did. I can't imagine anyone not feeling comfortable there. I truly wish that Dr. Tengonciang could be my general dentist. I was in the office 6 or so times and right from the first appointment, I felt really comfortable. I don't know that I could ever say I look forward to going to the dentist but given that I felt so comfortable I was ready to get the work done and actually did look forward to it going in and moving forward. Courtney, the office manager is awesome! She's one of the nicest people I've met and she's always smiling and happy to help you. She's someone you'd want to be friends with. She also manages the schedule perfectly. I never waited more than a few minutes to be seen and most often they were ready and waiting for me right when I walked in. Dr. Tengonciang is a very warm and inviting person. He introduced himself as Jayson and has great eye contact. He is thorough in his explanations and is reassuring. He does not make you feel guilty or ashamed that you've been avoiding dental work, he's just there to help you. He updates you as to what he's doing during each step of the process and makes sure you're comfortable. I was also fortunate to witness the high level of integrity he has. This endodontist cares about his patients and his practice and it shows! I honestly can't say enough about how impressed I am with him. Christine (dental assistant) is such a sweet person. I felt very comfortable with her and she always asked how my day was going and how my weekend was. She made sure I was comfortable and I am very grateful to her. Ellie (dental assistant) is very bubbly and cheerful. I appreciated her friendly upbeat demeanor. Truly, Dr. Tengonciang has the absolute best staff, through and through! Okay, I could go on and on forever...but let me get to the office itself. The office is very clean, very bright and modern. The have digital xrays, they give you sunglasses to wear which was really great. They also used a wedge in my mouth to rest my jaw on (why don't all dentists do this?!). There is a comfort menu posted and I found that to be a great touch. Just shows how much the want you to feel at ease! The comfort list includes headphones with music, warm towels after your procedure, soft blanket, neck pillow, and more. The office is easy to find, parking is plenty (right in front of the office), and it's not on a super busy street so getting there is a breeze. Prices were great, I felt like I was getting 5 star upscale service but for normal competitive prices. Give their office a try, you won't be disappointed.
