A Healthy Smile is a Woman Owned Business in historic Bon Air, Virginia. Dr. Wanda Hall is from New York and trained here at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry. She has extensive training in cosmetic and restorative dentistry. Dr. Hall served as adjunct faculty at VCU School of Dentistry. She continued her training at VCU school of Allied health receiving a Certificate in Aging Studies. Dr. Hall is certified in Invisalign, ITero scanning, Densply Sirona Cerec, Glidwell IO for same day crowns, Lasers, and implant restorations. She continues her love of learning new techniques with continuing education courses and certifications.
In her free time Dr. Hall loves to travel, write her stories, and binge watch British Royalty. You can always find her in the garden exploring and tending to her flowers. She loves spending time with her family and exotic pet, a green cheeked conure named Tobi. Listening to great Jazz is always a plus.

Dr. Jones is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University, School of Dentistry, where he is an Adjunct Faculty, Associate Professor in the Oral Maxillofacial Surgery Department as well as an Adjunct Faculty, Associate Professor in the Department of General Dentistry. He has earned a Fellowship as well as Mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry and served as Director of the Virginia AGD Mastership program. For the past 10 consecutive years, he has given the Invisalign University Training program to the D3 pre-doctoral dental students at VCU School of Dentistry. Dr Jones developed the curriculum for the VCU D2 Thermoplastics course, the first University in the world to use 3D printed models for a hands-on thermoplastics University course.
Orthodontics has been a key practice focus for some 30+ years. One of the first Invisalign certified GP providers (2001), Dr. Jones has been a member of Aligns speaker TEAM since 2002, presenting some 300+ Invisalign certifications. He has published some 50+ articles in publications that include: Glidewells Inclusive magazine, Chairside magazine, Dentistry Today, Inside Dentistry, Dental Product Shopper, Dental Economics, Journal of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Journal of Clinical Orthodontics, Journal of Oral Implantology and others. A regular contributing editor for many Invisalign publications, he is also a regular speaker at Invisalign GP Summits and International Invisalign Forums. He has several archived Ask the Expert (ATE) Align Webinars and his Clear Chronicles on-line blog which followed three of his Invisalign patients, was a feature of Aligns education website. His consulting service (www.ClinCheckhelp.net) has consulted on more than 10,000 ClinChecks. His passion for orthodontics extended to establishing the American Academy of Clear Aligners (AACA) where he also serves as Director of Continuing Education.He is also passionate about scanning technology, 3D printing and guided implant surgery. Dr Jones was one of the first beta testers of the iTero intraoral digital scanner in 2006, as well as the new iTero Element intraoral digital scanner technology. He was the first beta tester of the E4D milling system for use with iTero scans, as well as the first to beta test the iTero digital scanner for use with the IOS Fast Design milling system. Currently, he is helping develop in-office milling of the BruxZir Now solid zirconia product. Roughly 3 years ago, he was the first general dentist in the world to integrate 3D printing into everyday private dental practice. He currently has three different 3D printers in everyday service, used for models, surgical guides and provisionals. He was recently honored as a fellow of the International Academy of Dental Facial Esthetics. Dr Jones maintains a private dental practice in the Bon Air area of Richmond, Virginia.
Carrie grew up in the Midlothian area, and is a graduate of Manchester High School. She then attended Virginia Commonwealth University from which she earned a bachelors degree in Psychology. She continued her education and received her Masters of Business Administration from Old Dominion University.
Carrie has worked in Dental Administration for over 15 years. She is happily married to her husband, James. They love having the ability to raise their niece Annabel and four cats. Carrie spends much of her free time being outdoors, gardening and spending time with her friends and family.
I moved to Virginia in 2009 after many years of moving due to my parents military background. In 2017 I obtained my degree in Health Sciences from ECPI University. Soon after I began my career as a chairside assistant where I gradually transitioned to the front office. I love interacting with our patients and making sure they receive quality service. Outside of work I enjoy baking and spending time with my fianc and our two dogs.
My name is Melissa, Im 22 years old! I was born and raised in Richmond, VA but my family is from Mexico.Im the hygiene assistant at A Healthy Smile, I help out the doctor and hygienist. Ive been working in the dental field since 2019. I just graduated John Tyler Community College with a Health Science major; next route is hygiene school! I love working in dentistry, Im always opened to learn new things and meet new people every day! Some things I like to do out of work is spend time with family and friends, workout at the gym and go hiking! Hope to meet you soon!

The "in house" whitening treatment that I received today was superb! It took a total of 40 minutes from start to finish and the effects were immediate. I couldn't believe the transformation and it was a seamless and easy procedure with no discomfort on my end.Thanks and kudos to Dr. Hall and Maria, who did such an excellent job and restored my smile back to it's former days! And, many thanks to all of the staff there, who make my visit so pleasant every time.

This dental practice is excellent, using state-of-the-art technology and protocols. Dr. Wanda Hall is highly credentialed, extremely professional, engages with patients in distinct ways regarding periodontics. Her staff and referrals also are superb. I highly recommend this practice and I rarely write reviews.

My visit today was somewhat strange. I arrived early to make sure there were no issues completing any paperwork if needed. I called per protocol to let someone know I had arrived with no answer twice. It was around 8:10AM so I knocked and the person who opened the door in a somewhat suspicious manner seemed like they weren't sure what I was doing there. I advised I had an appointment which she then questioned me a few times asking if was sure. I double checked my phone to make sure and confirmed. She had a paper in hand that she eventually looked at saying oh yes you do! She invited me in and asked I sit in the chair by the front door which seemed strange. I know there are chairs there but I've never sat there, I've always been invited into the actual waiting room. What I realized is that the office was having a meeting in the waiting room which I could here everything. FYI you may want to have your morning meetings in a different location...lol. Once in the chair my teeth were polished before they were actually cleaned. I've been consistently going to the dentist for most of my life and I've never had my teeth polished before they were actually cleaned. Eventually they were cleaned but felt like the initial polishing was pointless since it was done first. All in all I've never had an issue with this office but today was really off.

This morning I had the best cleaning of my life! My hygienist, Kathy Jo was proficient friendly and knowledgeable. She took extra time to clean around my existing crowns and all the margins of my fillings. Her hygiene assistants Angel and Geneva made sure that I was comfortable and helped the entire appointment run smoothly. Dr. Hall and her staff are some of the best in the business. I recommend, "A Healthy Smile" to all my friends and family. It is truly a dental office that you look forward to going to every six months.

The staff was so nice! Dr Wanda was an angel and gave such great advice and recommendation. They were so gentle and actual made me look forward to the dentist. (which I previously disliked severely) would highly recommend to anyone who doesn't like going to the dentist. Very blessed to have such a great staff, so welcoming and heartwarming on my first visit! Loved it.

Everyone is friendly and professional. All employees masked and temps taken of all clients. I felt Covid19 safe. Have been going to this practice (new name this past year) for 29 years. Melissa great assistant, Leo cleaned my teeth and Dr Hall is wonderful.

Quick filling, numbing was just enough to get the job done comfortably. Dr. Hall and her staff are very friendly and efficient. Procedure took maybe 20 minutes.

I have been going to Perry Jones for almond 4O years and I was a little concerned about "starting over". I am very happy to say that Dr Wanda Hall and her staff have taken over without missing a beat. Everyone was so nice and pleasant and answered all questions I asked. Dr Hall did my filling and told me everything she was going to do. I think I'll stay and keep A Healthy Smile
