Dr. Karam Al-Rousan attended the Jordan University of Science & Technology, she graduated with a Bachelor degree in Dental Science in 1998. She began her professional career as an associate for a senior prosthodontist in her community where she developed a keen interest in the field of prosthodontics. Dr. Al-Rousan then practiced family and cosmetic dentistry in her home town for six years.
While in private practice, she volunteered with the local Dental Association program providing dental care to the elderly citizens in underserved areas. Dr. Alrousan joined the graduate prosthodontic program for 3 years at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. During this program she had advanced training in removable and fixed prosthodontics (i.e. Dentures and Bridges), surgical placement of implants, replacing the missing teeth and restoring the jaws using implants and cosmetic dentistry. She is actively researching the fit of recently developed material (Zirconia) when used in crown and bridge restoration.
During her course of study at the University of Michigan, Dr. Karam Al-Rousan was awarded the non-traditional fellowship by Rackham Graduate School in addition to the prestigious CEW award from the Center of the education of Women. After graduation, she also works as an adjunct clinical assistant professor at the University of Michigan where she transcends her clinical knowledge and expertise to her students and future dentists. In addition to teaching at University of Michigan, she is glad to practice in a state of the art modern practice, serving the dental needs of the community in Canton, MI, and the surrounding areas. She has a passion for smile makeovers and dental photography.
She resides in Canton MI, and is married and a mother to two children. In her free time, Dr. Al-Rousan enjoys travel, photography and cake decoration. Dr. Alrousan is a member at the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD) and the American College of Prosthodontists (ACP).

Dr. Altaani is hand down one of the most down to earth dentist I have ever incountered. My current dentist was on vacation and I called around for an emergency appointment for tooth pain. Dr. Altaani said to me at 3:37pm on a Friday that they closed at 4pm and if I could make it by then he would help me out. I arrived at 3:55pm and was out the door my 430ish. He could have charged me and arm and a leg, but was fair in pricing for am emergency. He was calming which help with my pain and anxiety. Once numb we were able to have a few good laughs. He gave me some solid advice. A few other things to point out. The office staff was very friendly, warm, and welcoming. The office was super clean and has some really cool technology. I would highly recommend him to anyone. Especially if your afraid of the dentist. He was gentle. I felt no judgment. And if he accepted my insurance he would be my go to Dentist. It's was a pleasure meeting him. He saved me from a weekend of pain.

I cannot say enough good things about this place. Dr. Altaani is the absolute best. He is so kind and welcoming. Everyone in that office is so nice. The minute I walked in for the first time I was at ease. They all know how to make you feel comfortable. I seriously love it there.

Dr. Alrouson gave me my smile back!!! I had a large space between my two upper front teeth. The doctor filled the gap in beautifully! It looks very natural and now I can smile with confidence.

Entire staff are. Wry welcoming and professional. The hygienist Maya took excellent care of me today and had great suggestions. The front desk ladies also were Very informing and helpful towards me. Minerva and Danillia ( I'm pretty sure that's not how to pronounce their names. My apologies lol) are awesome and made my appointment flow smoothly 10/10

I never thought in my lifetime I would spend 5 hours in a dentist chair, And walk out with a smile. Wish I would have known about this place years ago. And the staff is very friendly, which is not common. Thank you, Looking forward to my next visit

He takes his time explaining all procedures, gives plenty of reassurance, does an outstanding job as a dentist and also likes to keep it light by having a great sense of humor too! The hygienist is so sweet and comforting as well!! The girl that works the front desk has a very good personality and wears a big smile on her face! Love this place. When nobody else would help me Dr. Karan Alrousan did. I had to get dentures and my first dentist botched it all up every time I wore the dentures in less than 5-10 minutes I was gagging and choking. All other dentist kept telling me I had to get implants (that I did not qualify for unless I had major surgery done) Dr. Karan was honest, told me I was not a good candidate for implants my gums had receded to much and I would need surgery and because I am a diabetic that there is a 50% chance it would not work. She took the time and listen to me and told me it was my upper full plate making me gag. She made me an upper horseshoe that is staying in place and I am not gagging and it is staying in place with the powder. She cares about her patients and is extremely wonderful.

I'm glad I found this dentist's office when I moved to the area five years ago. I've had good experiences each time I've been here. I'm an autistic adult who can be awkward and ask a lot of questions, but everyone here has been very kind to me, and they answer all my questions with patience and cheerfulness. Anessa, the hygienist, did a phenomenal job cleaning my teeth during my first visit since quarantine. It's been over a week now, and I still can't stop smiling! Looking forward to my next visit, which is quite a thing to say about going to the dentist!
