Dr. Chris Bernardinis main focus is to provide genuine care combined with excellent technical skills. He has been a member of the Staten Island community his entire life. He was raised here, went to Monsignor Farrell High School, attended Wagner College, and completed his residency at Staten Island University Hospital. For as long as he remembers Dr. Chris wanted to be a dentist. At the age of six years old his father, Dr. Alexander Bernardini, graduated from New York Universitys College of Dentistry and began his practice. Dr. Chris started helping at his fathers office doing everything from cleaning up his dads workstation after each patient to eventually developing x-rays. When it came to choosing a career path, he already knew he wanted to pursue his passion and follow in his fathers footsteps.
Dr. Chris graduated from New York Universitys College of Dentistry in 1982 and immediately joined his fathers practice, bringing the same level of care and comfort to all patients as his father did. In addition to being a general dentist, Dr. Chris developed an interest and passion for implant and cosmetic dentistry, dedicating hundreds of hours in continuing education every year, in order to continue providing the best dental treatment available for his patients. Between Dr. Chris and his beloved father, four generations of families and more have become part of their dental family. Always bringing optimal oral health to the Staten Island community and the surrounding areas, 2022 will mark seven decades of providing exceptional dental care.
Dr. Chris goal is to continue offering a safe and comfortable environment and have a team as compassionate as he is, to treat and provide not just dental health, confidence, and functionality, but the overall quality of life while making our patients feel like family. He will always help patients conquer their fears by building genuine relationships and trust. This allows him to continue doing what he loves.
Veronica joined our practice in 2011. Since then she has helped the team and practice reach a new level of service. As our treatment coordinator and management assistant, she takes pride in helping our patients understand the necessary treatment to reach their dental goals, as well as helping them find the financial option that best fits into their lifestyle. Veronica will always go above and beyond to ensure our patients feel comfortable and confident before moving forward because clarity and communication are her top priority.
Veronica loves to brighten our patients smiles with her amazing and outgoing personality, many years of experience, and professionalism. She earned a finance degree at St. Johns University and has over ten years of experience in the dental field. What she loves the most about being part of our team is forming long-lasting relationships with our patients, meeting new people, providing the best guidance to them, and making them feel at home rather than at a dental office.
Krystal is the newest member of our dental family. She joined us in June 2021 and she is an amazing and dependable team player. Her goal is to make patients feel comfortable and at home by greeting them with a friendly smile and a warm welcome. As our front desk coordinator, Krystal enjoys the excitement of welcoming new patients and helping all patients achieve their dental goals, as well as understanding their financial and scheduling needs.
Marie received her Associate of Applied Science degree in dental hygiene in 2015 and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in 2019 from New York University College of Dentistry. Marie has always been passionate about the field of dentistry. Since she was a little girl she knew that she always wanted to help people overcome their dental fears and make them want to smile. In November of 2018, she went on a global outreach to Nepal with NYU that impacted her life. She was given the opportunity to engage in a culture across the world so completely different than ours. Working globally allowed her to realize her purpose of how she would like to live her life of providing and caring for others. Her mission is, whether locally or internationally, to impact and to help better other peoples lives with an understanding of the importance of not only taking care of your teeth, but your overall health, and overcoming any phobias/fears.
Aside from being passionate about dentistry, Marie has always been passionate about dance, travel, photography, and reading. Delighted to have joined Dr. Bernardinis team in 2020, Marie looks forward to providing quality time to our patients while caring and educating about their overall dental health and making their smile sparkle!
With over 16 years of experience and passion for what she does, Sonia is an outstanding dental assistant, with a high level of care and honesty in everything she does. She will always brighten your day, providing you with a smile, and assuring that you feel comfortable when assisting Dr. Chris. Sonia loves being part of our team because of the warm and welcoming atmosphere the office provides to our patients.
