Dr. Kelley graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology in 1979. He was then accepted and attended one of the top ranked dental schools in the nation - the University of Michigan School of Dentistry where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1983.
Dr. Kelley is an active member of many dental organizations, including the American Dental Association, the Michigan Dental Association, the Oakland County Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Academy of Dentistry International, the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, the Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, the International Association for Orthodontics, the L.D. Pankey Alumni Association, and the World Congress of Laser Dentistry.
Dr. Kelley is a Fellow of the Academy of Dentistry International (FADI). The ADI is an international honor society for dentists promoting social responsibility of the dental profession. Fellowship in the ADI is bestowed on dentists whose professional, civic, and related accomplishments are truly outstanding. Candidates for fellowship must have earned their dental degree at least five years prior to nomination.
Dr. Kelley is also a Fellow of the International Dental Implant Association. The International Dental Implant Association is an alumni network for dentists who have taken dental implant seminars (continuing education courses). Founded in 2008 by Dr. Arun K. Garg, an international lecturer, author, and oral surgeon, the International Dental Implant Association has grown to become one of the largest organizations of its size with nearly 3,000 members.

Dentists are responsible for diagnosing oral diseases, as well as promoting oral health and disease prevention. Additionally, they look for abnormalities within the mouth such as lumps, swelling or discoloration, and perform necessary diagnostic procedures to diagnose and treat these abnormalities.
Karen has been in the dental field for twenty years. She has the most welcoming voice and a smile that lights up a room. Karen loves to travel, white water raft, antiquing and taking long walks. She is a firm believer in living a healthy lifestyle. Karen looks forward to spending time with her grandchildren on her days off. DeAnna has been working with Dr Kelley for over thirty years. She first started working with Dr Kelley as his dental assistant and has since transitioned into our Financial Coordinator and Office Manager. DeAnna and her husband have one son who is a music major at Central Michigan University, Fire Up Chips.
Kim is new to Dr. Kelleys dental practice, but has been working in the dental field for over 20 years as a receptionist. Kim has a 24-year-old daughter attending college. She enjoys spending time with her two cats (Bimini and Devereux) and her dog (Dunedin). Kim and her daughter enjoy visiting Yates Cider Mill and walking Dunedin along the paths near the river.
Cathy has worked with Dr Kelley and his team for a number of years. Her strength lies in helping patients understand the connection between their oral and overall health. She is passionate about her role as a health care professional and strives to help her patients feel comfortable and cared for. Fun fact about Cathy, she loves to unwind at her cottage on Russell island no cars allowed!
Ebony has been working with Dr Kelley for 8 years. She has a strong desire for highly educating her patients on how to maintain a healthy smile. Ebony enjoys gardening in her spare time, and she loves to shop. Ebony also has a passion for cooking French and Italian food. Fun fact about Ebony, she loves to play Words with Friends!
