Dr. Kelley is a reliable and experienced dentist who is currently serving patients dental needs at his private dental practice - A Center For Family Dentistry - in Troy, Michigan. There, he and his caring team strive to provide patients the highest quality, most comfortable dental care in a relaxing and state-of-the-art environment. Dr. Kelley graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology in 1979. He was then accepted and attended one of the top ranked dental schools in the nation - the University of Michigan School of Dentistry where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1983.
Dr. Kelley is an active member of many dental organizations, including the American Dental Association, the Michigan Dental Association, the Oakland County Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Academy of Dentistry International, the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, the Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, the International Association for Orthodontics, the L.D. Pankey Alumni Association, and the World Congress of Laser Dentistry.
Dr. Kelley is a Fellow of the Academy of Dentistry International (FADI). The ADI is an international honor society for dentists promoting social responsibility of the dental profession. Fellowship in the ADI is bestowed on dentists whose professional, civic, and related accomplishments are truly outstanding. Candidates for fellowship must have earned their dental degree at least five years prior to nomination.
Dr. Kelley is also a Fellow of the International Dental Implant Association. The International Dental Implant Association is an alumni network for dentists who have taken dental implant seminars (continuing education courses). Founded in 2008 by Dr. Arun K. Garg, an international lecturer, author, and oral surgeon, the International Dental Implant Association has grown to become one of the largest organizations of its size with nearly 3,000 members.
Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Dentists are responsible for diagnosing oral diseases, as well as promoting oral health and disease prevention. Additionally, they look for abnormalities within the mouth such as lumps, swelling or discoloration, and perform necessary diagnostic procedures to diagnose and treat these abnormalities.
Karen has been in the dental field for twenty years. She has the most welcoming voice and a smile that lights up a room. Karen loves to travel, white water raft, antiquing and taking long walks. She is a firm believer in living a healthy lifestyle. Karen looks forward to spending time with her grandchildren on her days off. Fun fact about Karen, she likes to visit National Parks whenever she can.
DeAnna has been working with Dr Kelley for over thirty years. She first started working with Dr Kelley as his dental assistant and has since transitioned into our Financial Coordinator and Office Manager. DeAnna and her husband have one son who is a music major at Central Michigan University, Fire Up Chips.
Kim is new to Dr. Kelleys dental practice, but has been working in the dental field for over 20 years as a receptionist. Kim has a 24-year-old daughter attending college. She enjoys spending time with her two cats (Bimini and Devereux) and her dog (Dunedin). Kim and her daughter enjoy visiting Yates Cider Mill and walking Dunedin along the paths near the river.
Cathy has worked with Dr Kelley and his team for a number of years. Her strength lies in helping patients understand the connection between their oral and overall health. She is passionate about her role as a health care professional and strives to help her patients feel comfortable and cared for. Fun fact about Cathy, she loves to unwind at her cottage on Russell island no cars allowed!
Ebony has been working with Dr Kelley for 8 years. She has a strong desire for highly educating her patients on how to maintain a healthy smile. Ebony enjoys gardening in her spare time, and she loves to shop. Ebony also has a passion for cooking French and Italian food. Fun fact about Ebony, she loves to play Words with Friends! Shes always accepting new challenges, so if you want to join, make sure you ask her!
Tanika has been working with Dr Kelley for twenty years. She has a warm embrace and enjoys taking great care of our patients. Tanika and her husband love to travel as much as possible. Fun fact about Tanika, she likes to roller-skate whenever she gets the chance.
My name is Tania, Ive been in Dentistry for 2 years and I enjoy learning about teeth every day. I love outdoor activities and eating good food. I live in Ferndale and enjoy spending time with my husband as well as my 4 cat friends. I speak Spanish fluently and always down to have a chat!

First visit very comprehensive examination. I have never seen some of this new very high tech equipment to give the doctor far more precise information for analysis and comparison for future evaluation.

Love my hygienist Cathy. She's so personable, friendly, and receptive to my concerns and preferences. This dentist office is the first I've found that actually treats the whole patient and has improved my dental health for the long term. As a nervous, insecure and awkward patient, (and person in general), Dr.Kelley and staff manage to provide an environment where I feel actually cared for. Their professionalism and expertise give me the reassurance I need to maintain all future appointments at their office. The hygienists are kind and quick, and Dr.Kelley is gentle and precise. Each appointment is over quicker than expected and that's a big deal for an anxious patient. I'm grateful to have been recommended to their office by a friend.
