Dentistry allows me to help my patients tell the story of their lives with their smiles. Every patient is different. Some have been my patients for over 20 years and we have grown together! Some are new to the practice and we are just getting to know each other. Regardless of how long Ive known a patient, I treat each one with the compassion and gentleness that I would give to my own family.

There is always something more we can learn to create positive experiences for our patients. By attending local continuing education classes and national meetings, I am able to stay at the forefront of treatment options, techniques, and technology, all for the betterment of my patients health.

In addition to spending time with my family and traveling, I am also involved with Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., First Nazareth Baptist Church, Jack and Jill of America, The Links Incorporated and The Moles Incorporated.

We recognize that all of our patients are unique and deserve to receive dental care that reflects their individual needs. Our experienced and talented dental team is committed to working with you and your family to create a comfortable, stress-free, and rewarding dental experience every time you visit our practice.

I am retired US Air Force and have a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from Benedict College. More importantly, I am Dr. Thompsons husband! I am here to support her with the overall decision-making process and help all her goals come to fruition. As the spouse of Dr. Thompson, I see the passion she has for the office, her patients, and her employees.

We are committed to providing the highest quality clinical care and personalized service in a warm and compassionate atmosphere. Dr. Thompson and our staff enjoy getting to know each patient and their families, and love creating relationships that last multiple generations.

  • We believe in providing optimal treatment results, but recognize that the overall dental experience is crucial, too. Thats why we customize treatment plans for each individual's goals and expectations.
  • We are especially attentive to everyone's individual needs, and do our best to be helpful with insurance, flexible scheduling, flexible payment options, and any special needs that our families and patients have.

Overall good experience thus far. Had to wait 4 months for an intial appointment. New to area and looking for a dentist for our family. Staff was nice, the atmosphere was welcoming. Our kids had no complaints. Smaller office, if you have a bigger family sit tight. I'll update the review after our follow up appointments.

I visited this office and spent over 10K and two of my veneers have fell out within a year. They ordered the wrong replacement and refuse to correct it. Note I have to find a new dentist to correct their mistakes. Never again and I will be filing suit.

I requested an adjustment to tighten my claps a little, but left office with 2 broken claps, due to a nurse thinking it was ok to cut down one of my claps without asking me first, said she wanted to reduce less wire for me for better fit, but what she did was messed up my partial, next nurse comes in the room and try to fix it, but instead, she made it worse by breaking another clap by mistake, but had seemed to be getting impatient, so both of them couldn't get it right, so Dr Thompson came in and did all she could to make it better for me, she always seems to care about me. but the damaged had already been done and on top of that having to hear both nurses laughing when they left the room about my adjusting issue was very hurtful, they didn't know I heard them in the background, but that was awful to hear. They are supposed to be medical professionals and they were laughing about a patient issue...thought someone would of suggested that my partial go back to labs for repair, but no one suggested it cause no one didn't want to take responsibility

Worst ever dentist I have ever seen. I was their patient few years ago. They did a couple of filling for my teeth. The filling was rough and I had to go to another dentist to smooth it out. And now some of them start to fell off. Horrible, horrible, horrible!

First impressions mean a lot. I had an 8:00 am appointment and I walked in having high hopes of finding a closer dentist to me. The dental hygienist was very nice but she didn't seem to know how to work the instruments and had to ask for help anytime she used one. That wouldn't bother me except for the fact I never had an issue not feeling like having a brand new set of teeth when I walked out after a cleaning. I am sure you know what I am talking about! I will say it's mostly due to the lack of preparation and some knowledge. This wasn't even the deal breaker for me. They told me Dr. Thompson was late and they would have her view my X-rays rays and have me come back if she saw any issues. I knew I had a cavity due to sensitivity/pain so hearing I would have to come back did not make me very happy. They asked me if I wanted to wait a little while to see if she would arrive and said I could go back to the waiting room or stay in the chair. I decided to stay put and thankfully she showed up 20 minutes later. I left a little after 10:00 am and have been debating on whether or not I am going to cancel my appointment for a filling because I cannot stand my time being wasted. I just want a dentist I can walk into every 6 months and not spend 2 hours there for a cleaning. I decide to cancel and I am glad I did. The office was unexpectedly closed due to Dr. Thompson being out that day for whatever reason. I haven't been able to cancel my appointment yet but this confirms to keep looking for a dentist office that is more reliable for my personal preference.

Updated: My wife went in for to have a crown and they did the wrong tooth! She was in pain from the one that was suppose to be done so we had to pay for another crown. The staff acted like it was our fault that the wrong tooth was crowned. No one not event the Dentist accepted any responsibility for the mistake. I definitely do not recommend A Brighter Smile.

Very professional & congenial service for denture repair/replacement. Highly recommend for this type of issue. Lost 5th star only for shade steep on pricing for the replacement denture. Trust these people highly.

Nothing short of excellent. I've always harbored contempt for dental appointments. Dr Thompson and Staff always make visits a little more enjoyable. Services are provided professionally and prompt. Procedures are explained and all questions answered. Atmosphere is calming, I just love their sense of humor. Office is very clean.. I just love these ladies !! After hour care is provided as well.

Today was my first time at this office and I will definitely remain a patient here. They have a 48 hr cancellation policy I was unaware of and I missed my original appt time due to a mental health issue. Front office staff was very understanding and allowed me to reschedule. While rescheduling she even remembered who I was and asked if I was okay and I really appreciated that. While checking my teeth, cleaning, and flossing I was very impressed. My previous dentist had staff that were very rough and I would dread flossing. This was also the first place that purposed an in office solution to the pocket that I have around one of my teeth. Very talkative and funny to help put people at ease who are not as happy about seeing the dentist. Loved it here.

I don't know whether it was on purpose or not but they told me it was going to be $4,700 for two implants and then on my next appointment after working on me explain I needed to pay 27 hundred more dollars total total Miss misleading totally wrong had several Finance people that did not know what they were talking about. Never never never never never made it clear that there were two costs. I trusted them I like them made a mistake by trusting them. Offered to split the difference she wouldn't take it I reckon I'll see him in court
