Dr. Joseph Heidelberger has been providing quality dental services to the patients of 906 Family Dentistry since 1991. Born in Plymouth, Michigan he received his undergraduate degree from Wayne State University. In 1988 he completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Michigan. After working downstate for a few years, he was drawn to the people and the country of the Upper Peninsula. An avid hiker, fisherman, and general outdoors enthusiast he has felt at home for the past 25 + years in Ishpeming where he and his wife, Karin, have raised their family. He is an active member of the Michigan Dental Association and the American Dental Association and his passion is providing general family dentistry to our community. Dr. Heidelberger welcomes all patients to his practice.
A life-long resident of Ishpeming, Dr. Anderson began his dental career at 906 Family Dentistry as an Ishpeming High School intern in 1999. He continued his relationship with the clinic while receiving his undergraduate degree from Northern Michigan University in 2004. In 2009 he completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Detroit-Mercy with multiple honors. Throughout his education, he knew he wanted to return to his hometown to provide quality care to the community that helped raise him. Dr. Anderson enjoys summers at camp, biking, running, and has a very impressive sock collection. In addition to being an active member of the Michigan Dental Association and the American Dental Association, he has served as the past president of the Superior District Dental Society. Dr. Anderson has continued his education dedicating hours studying at the Dawson Academy and completing several Spear Education courses. Dr. Anderson provides general family dental services and is courtesy staff at UP Health System Bell where he provides care for patients requiring general anesthesia. He focuses on children and improving cosmetic challenges for all. Not only does Dr. Anderson give back to his community, but he also travels to Tanzania to provide dental services at a clinic he helped to start. Dr. Anderson looks forward to working with you to achieve your dental goals.
Dr. Maynard recently moved to the Upper Peninsula in July, and she is excited to experience her first winter here! She is originally from Saint Clair Shores, Michigan. She attended the University of Detroit Mercy for her Undergraduate degree where she earned a B.S. in Biology. Dr. Maynard earned her D.D.S at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry in June 2021. She is an active member of the American Dental Association and the Michigan Dental Association. She works on the MDA Foundation Grant Committee as well as the MDA Foundation Scholarship Committee. In her free time, Dr. Maynard enjoys spending time with friends and family, camping, hiking, and enjoying nature. She is so excited to explore the beautiful Upper Peninsula.
