Dr. McRee is originally from Gainesville, GA. He attended the University of Georgia on a baseball scholarship where he earned All-American honors both on the field and in the classroom. Dr. McRee then went on to acquire his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Medical College of Georgia and then chose to pursue an advanced surgical training residency and was accepted by his first choice, Foundry Dental Implant Center, outside Birmingham, Alabama.
Since residency, Dr. McRee has become a leader in the field of implant dentistry and has successfully completed thousands of implant cases at multiple leading implant centers across the southeast. He has lectured on state-of-the-art techniques and has taught others in the field of implantology. Dr. McRee has also been instrumental in the successful vertical integration of the surgical, restorative, and lab portions of implantology to be able to provide Jax Implants & Dentures with the absolute most efficient processes available.
Dr. McRee is a member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and is on track to be a diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology; the highest award that can be achieved in implant dentistry.
Dr. Russell is originally from West Columbia, SC. He attended Wofford College where he majored in Biology with an emphasis in Computer Science. Dr. Russell continued his education at the Medical University of South Carolina College of Dental Medicine and then completed his surgical training residency at the Foundry Dental Implant Center in Alabama with Dr. McRee.
Since residency, Dr Russell has become a leader in the field of restorative implant dentistry and digital dentistry. He has lectured on digital dentistrys ability to improve surgical and cosmetic outcomes. Dr. Russell has helped refine and implement the digital workflow that streamlines the entire process for patients at Jax Implants & Dentures to make it the most efficient process available.
