Dr. McRee is originally from Gainesville, GA. He attended the University of Georgia on a baseball scholarship where he earned All-American honors both on the field and in the classroom. Dr. McRee then went on to acquire his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Medical College of Georgia and then chose to pursue an advanced surgical training residency and was accepted by his first choice, Foundry Dental Implant Center, outside Birmingham, Alabama.
Since residency, Dr. McRee has become a leader in the field of implant dentistry and has successfully completed thousands of implant cases at multiple leading implant centers across the southeast. He has lectured on state-of-the-art techniques and has taught others in the field of implantology. Dr. McRee has also been instrumental in the successful vertical integration of the surgical, restorative, and lab portions of implantology to be able to provide Jax Implants & Dentures with the absolute most efficient processes available.
Dr. McRee is a member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and is on track to be a diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology; the highest award that can be achieved in implant dentistry.
Dr. Russell is originally from West Columbia, SC. He attended Wofford College where he majored in Biology with an emphasis in Computer Science. Dr. Russell continued his education at the Medical University of South Carolina College of Dental Medicine and then completed his surgical training residency at the Foundry Dental Implant Center in Alabama with Dr. McRee.
Since residency, Dr Russell has become a leader in the field of restorative implant dentistry and digital dentistry. He has lectured on digital dentistrys ability to improve surgical and cosmetic outcomes. Dr. Russell has helped refine and implement the digital workflow that streamlines the entire process for patients at Jax Implants & Dentures to make it the most efficient process available.

( Updated review, Nov 5th. I received my final zirconias arches on October 31st what a huge difference. If I had to do it all over again I would do it without any hesitation. Everyone has been amazing through entire process, no matter what concern I had I was seen right away. Couldn't be happier!! ) It's been a long two year journey for me to get to where I am today. I had advanced stages of periodontal gun disease that was miss treated by a previous dentist, i've spent thousands of dollars over the last four years on treatments deep cleanings and scaling down to my jaw bone. I've been to at least 10 dentist in the city of Jacksonville and two periodontal specialists in the last two years. It seems that everywhere that I went, there were multiple different offices involved doing different procedures and they all needed a piece of the pie $$$ I was quoted up to 62K. I did not want to deal with multiple offices. I was going to use D&A, I went in for a consultation had everything scheduled, but once I finally read the reviews I quickly changed my mind. So I was once again on the hunt. That's when I came across Jax Implants and Dentures. I was Absolutely blown away by everyone at this location. All of the staff were very friendly, professional and genuine. As for Dr. McRee and Dr. Russell, I can't say enough about these two gentlemen. Just true professionals and Masters at their craft. I've been wearing upper and lower partials for about seven years and needed 17 teeth removed. I was told I would receive 4 to 6 implants per arch. Dr. McRee didn't take any shortcuts I received all 12 implants. My surgery was on 6/21/22 which was the third year anniversary from quitting smoking I might add. On 6/22/22 The day after my surgery I had my new Arch's installed. Still absolutely no pain, On a scale of 1 to 10. Im a ZERO As for soreness on a scale of 1 to 10 about a 0.5 Today is the third day 6/23/22 I am still in no pain or any discomfort just a little tender if I touch my jaw and little swollen, but very manageable. I highly would recommend anyone needing implants to give them a try. I think you'll be blown away as I was and I'm very critical and not easy to please. I will say if you're skeptical about getting this done don't be, I know mentally it's not easy, it wasn't for me, but I promise you, you will be in amazing hands. I'm still in disbelief and blown away by Jax Implants. There's already multiple people I know making appointments just based upon my experience.

So friendly! Even after we found out my ins didn't pay enough. The sweet lady up front helped me find my Uber driver and helped me into the car! She went over and beyond knowing I couldn't be a patient. I won't forget that and tell everyone I know! I'm 73 and most of my friends are the same age. I will yell them all about that great place! Great place! Everyone is very friendly from the check in to doctors and nurses. Very professional, no long wait, if you have appointment at 10am, they will take you in exactly that time. I did an implant and it was not easy procedure for me, i didn't feel anything during procedure, but recovery felt like after surgery. All, doctor and his assistants, everyone did a great job, I would highly recommend that dental office.

The staff was great, nice and very pleasant. The interior and exterior was clean. The techs working the front desk and the doctor and tech test I saw audio has clean nails. I'd trust them working on teeth.
