A graduate of Temple University in Philadelphia, Dr. Craig S. Howden is a member of the American Dental Association, the Arizona Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, Spear Education Faculty Club.
I created the 89A team because I insist on providing the best dental care for my patients. Here you will find top-notch dentistry, the highest quality materials and latest dental technology to literally show you whats going on in your mouth so you can have a voice in your own dental care. Two of the many things I love in life are dentistry and classic cars. Mix the two together and you have 89A Dental Care! I love what I do.
My wife, Christina, and I moved to Prescott Valley in 2009 with our oldest son, Isaac, in tow. In 2011, our twin boys, Luke and Jonah, came into our family. We love Prescott Valley and enjoy raising our boys here.
I joined the 89A Dental team because of their philosophy to provide excellent dental care of the highest standards. I will strive to ensure integrity, quality, and precision in all of my work. I will also work to empower you, the patient, with the knowledge and information needed to make informed decisions regarding your dental health. I consider all of my patients as family, and will treat you in a caring, understanding, and thorough manner.
My family and I moved to Prescott Valley in 2013 and we have since fallen in love with the area. My wife, Britta, and I have four wonderful children. After having spent time in Utah, New York, and New Mexico, we are excited to put down roots here. We look forward to growing our family, alongside yours, as part of this great community.
Dr. Bennion attended State University of New York at Buffalo where he received his DDS degree. Prior to that he attained BA degree in Spanish from Southern Utah University where he studied Chemistry and Biology.
I am a member of the 89A team because I believe that your smile is one of the most important features on your face. Each persons teeth are unique and I want to help you keep your beautiful smile. I love teeth! I also love animals and collecting gemstones along with spending time with my family!

Outside of 89A Dental Care, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, hiking and snowboarding.
I am a member of the 89A team because I want to provide quality dental care in an office that truly cares about patients. I want to help keep smiles beautiful! I have a B.S. in Dental Hygiene and a minor in Biology from NAU. I am the captain of my roller derby team called the Coffin Draggers and I also am on the leagues travel team, the HOTSHOTS and we are currently ranked #2 in the nation. I work hard and play hard!

I have lived in the Prescott area my whole life. I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I also love being outdoors, watching movies and cooking.

I am proud to be a part of such an intelligent, caring, fun-loving group of people. On a more personal note, my husband Nate and I recently welcomed our first son, Conor into the world. He is awesome! I enjoy cooking, cleaning (weird, I know) and watching movies. I look forward to welcoming you to our dental family!

I love my job; I get to meet new people every day and every day brings something new! This office is full of talented, loving, caring people and I am honored to be part of that. On a personal, note I have been blessed with an amazing man I am lucky to call my husband. We have two bundles of joy, Samara and Damian, I love spending quality time with them, as well as cooking, hiking and arts and crafts. Best dental in Prescott Valley and Prescott in my opinion. Been a patient since they opened and wouldn't go anywhere else. Every one is so professional and personable.

I have had many dentist appointments in my life but 89A Dental is by far the best office I have been to. Dr. Steele and her hygienists and assistants are fantastic. I have never had a permanent crown put in the same day and this one was painless and feels excellent. I cannot recommend this office with any higher score. Everyone that I have met there is exceptional from the front office, billing, to the hygienists and dentists. I am so grateful for the recommendation to go to 89A Dental. I highly recommend this practice to anyone needing a dentist.

I scheduled because I lost my crown and they got me in the next day! Other than than the quick appointment, the staff made the difference. From front office to back office they were all amazing! All very courteous, polite, friendly and they really cared for my comfort. I got great service, the crown made, and put in all in the same day! I have found the dental office I will use from now on! They DO NOT handle dental emergencies. A dental emergency means your in pain and in need of URGENT care. You cant wait two days for an appointment. Why be in a profession where the main service is to take care of people in distress if ypur just going to turn them away?

Dr. Bennion is extremely knowledgeable and personable. He and his assistant Gayle made me feel very comfortable while getting my dental work done. My hygienist Tierney is the absolute best and very gentle. I would highly recommend this office.

Highly recommend! This is the most comfortable dentist office I have ever been to. The dentist (Dr. Howden) and hygenist (Brooke) are absolutely fantastic professionals and truly gifted in patient care. The front desk staff are highly experienced in the management of administrative tasks and making patients feel welcome upon entering the nicely decorated office. My dental exam was very meticulous and my cleaning was a pleasant experience. Dr. Howden and staff are so friendly and helpful in explaining everything and treat their patients like family. Best care I have ever had - hands down. 5 stars through and through!

Needed a crown. Was going to be $1500, but if I bought the "Bumper to bumper" plan for $300 I could get $250 dollars off the crown and 2 "free teeth cleaning" in the next year. (Cleaning is about $120.) Got the plan, went for first cleaning, and they wouldn't do it unless I paid $145 for one wisdom tooth "deep cleaning "..Then I got a future needed work cost estimate for $3100. (This is rough short story)

I spoke to some lady on the phone, I dont remember her name but she was very helpful. I needed to find a oral surgeon that provided IV sedation because I have a big fear of dentists and getting dental work done, and she was able to point me in the right direction rather than just saying something like "oh yeah I dont know, sorry. I only know what we provide". When I am done getting my wisdom teeth extracted, I will be coming here to get all the rest of my work done. (fillings and such). Thank you to whoever I spoke to at 3:55 on 10/7

I made an appointment with them to look at a tooth that had broken. They got me in fairly quickly to see what was going on.This was my first appt. there. I saw Dr.Steele, she was very kind & professional. She told me it would need a crown. I was able to get an appointment within 2 days to have that done. I went in for my appointment, and Dr. Steele explained the procedure to me. Now with the newer technology, they are able to do the procedure in one day. No temporary crowns! They scan the tooth and area around it. They have the machine that makes the crown, right there in the office. It is "fired" in their mini kiln, they come in and fit it before cementing it. They do the "finishing" on it & home you go. This is probably the best dental appointment I have ever had. Everyone there is very friendly, professional & caring. I was very impressed. I highly recommend 89A Dental.

Even during a pandemic they provided amazing care and took extra measures to make sure my family was safe. My son (3) had his appointment with Tierney. She did an amazing job making him feel comfortable while waring masks. He STILL talks about his appointment and says "Mom remember Tierney she is my favorite" Front office did a great job at getting us out quickly. Thank you guys!
