Dr. Thongin grew up on the East Coast and went to Temple University School of Dentistry in Philadelphia, graduating with honors in Oral Surgery, Periodontology, and Endodontics. Dr. Thongin completed his residency at the University of Washington and has accrued over 1000 hours of continuing education courses throughout his years in practice. He is known for his compassionate manner and extensive knowledge of the latest techniques in dentistry. Dr. Thongin offers the highest level of comfort and has a great way of explaining your treatment plans.
Dr. Nick Yeung grew up in Bothell, Washington. He earned his Bachelor's degree from the University of Washington in Economics and continued his education at the UW School of Dentistry where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree. He is a current member of the American Dental Association, Washington State Dental Association, Seattle King County Dental Society, and Washington Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Yeung stays up to date in his dental knowledge and technique through continuing education on a yearly basis. He focuses on providing comprehensive general dentistry that he has been trained at the prestigious Kois Center. Dr. Yeung also offers oral/IV sedation to provide patients with maximum comfort during their visits.
Dr. Avery Ruben was born and raised in South Florida and attended the University of Florida for his undergraduate degree in Food Science and Human Nutrition. He then received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, Florida where he was one of twelve elected to the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) National Dental Honor Society. Dr. Ruben is experienced with all facets of general dentistry, including IV Sedation, Invisalign, and dental implant surgery. In his free time, Dr. Ruben enjoys traveling and watching soccer.
Dr. Park earned his biochemistry bachelors degree from the University of Washington and moved to Boston where he got a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. Through the externships, the continuing education courses on Invisalign, Hiossen Implant, etc., as well as the several years of practice, he has been exposed to all branches of dentistry and gained a vast array of experiences. Dr. Park always strives to put the patient's well-being first and treat each patient with a long-term perspective. He takes so much joy from serving his patients, be it cleaning, root canal treatment, or extraction, and hopes to make a dental visit as pleasant as possible for everyone.
Dr. Sarah Baik is a licensed dentist focused on general and cosmetic dentistry. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco, California. She then pursued additional advanced education through a general dentistry residency program in Seattle through NYU Langone Medical Center, where she received extensive training in oral health rehabilitation, implant restoration, oral surgery, endodontic therapy, and more. Since then, she has been passionate about rejuvenating patients smiles and dedicated to restoring their oral health.

Staff is mostly excellent. The dentists and dental assistants are great. This used to be the best dental office, now it is absolutely impossible to get in touch with anyone and no one will answer any questions despite talking to multiple people. I have now been waiting for 3 weeks for someone to get back to me on how much some dental work will cost.

Love this dental office. Have been there for cleanings, fillings, and to replace a crown. Drs Cao and Ruben are excellent dentists- professional, caring, and friendly. Dr Ruben and Nate went above and beyond- staying after hours on the weekend to help me out.

I am not a fan of dentists but I love this place! They are kind and reassuring and explain everything they do in good detail. I have only positive things to say about all them and would recommend to anyone searching for a new dentist Edit: once again this place amazes me. I came in to get my retainer checked and they went above and beyond in helping me get it removed.

I've been going here for approximately 6 years and it's a great practice. The doctors, assistants and staff are all excellent and put the patients first. I highly recommend.

As somebody with dentist anxiety I am so grateful for how kind, gentle, skillful, knowledgeable and accommodating everyone is here. I feel they truly taken care of and I can't imagine going anywhere else.

My husband and I have been using this 8 to 8 Dental for several years for our dental care, but this is the first time we've posted a review. I don't automatically give everyone 5-stars, but 8 to 8 went the distance to earn it. We expected (and got) our usual outstanding care from Dr. Reuben and the dental hygienists, but it was the front office that went that extra distance on this visit. Special thanks to Emily for working with our dental insurance. Insurance can be a confusing mess at best. On this appointment, making it work with our insurance was like a moving target. Emily pulled it all together for us. And yes, we left smiling.

This is the place I have been going to since 2018. I picked it because it within 2 blocks of where we live. Over the years the service has improved a lot. My husband shares the same perspective. My most recent visit proved that they are really focusing on customer service and creating a great experience. Dina (not sure if I spelt it right) is one of the best dental hygienist I have experienced and really like the communication and approach. I loved that the tv had pet videos this time. That brought some fun into a dental visit for sure. They really took great care of me. They have the iTero scanning technology which is really cool in how it creates a 3D scan of my teeth for night guards and viewing. I got to see my teeth fully for the first time. Get a scan if you can.

This place and everybody who works there from the front desk to dental assistants to the dentist is absolutely beyond spectacular. Booking is fast and quick online including an app to check in etc. The check in area is cozy and offers ample seating of all sorts and the bathroom is clean and wonderful. I came here based off of another friend's recommendation and I am so, so, so happy I came here. I came just for a cleaning to see how things would go, and they got me in and out super quick in 1 hour and they did a fantastic job. Everybody was so kind, thoughtful and helpful. When I came in to do some work on my front tooth, the dentist was so kind. I was super nervous and scared and they were amazing at soothing my nervousness. I also really like the TV with all the cute animal videos which is a nice touch. Extra, extra shout out to Dr. Reuben who did an absolutely SPECTACULAR job on my crown. Oftentimes, one would think that they just try to plop that bad boy in and call it a day. But they work really really hard to make it amazing and a perfect fit. The attention to detail is flawless. And Nate! Nate is the bee's knees. Their equipment is modern, efficient and practically pain free. Just come here. You won't regret it. Its affordable, convenient and just overall amazing. Props, props, props <3

I had two teeth pulled a week before by another dentist. The area became infected and was causing pain and bleeding . The Dentist at 8 to 8 diagnosed the problem cleaned up the infected area, stitched it up and gave a prescription for antibiotics. They did a very good job. Bleeding stopped within 8 hours and I feel much better.

Hands down the nicest most gentle dental experience of my life. I had 3 cavities filled and expressed my fear about the dentist and numbing shots. The dentist and their staff was so nice about it, gave me Novocaine in a way that didn't hurt nor did it completely numb my face for hours after. She didn't clip my lip on anything or push too heavily into my teeth of face. honestly just overall a much better experience than I'm use to! They have great availability too!

I gave been going to 8 to 8 Dental since I moved to Seattle 3 years ago. Overall it is a really pleasant experience and I would highly recommend. The scheduling process usually is uncomplicated, wait time is very short and stuff seems very competent. I recently got a dental bleaching and am very happy with the results. Nate took very good care of me and walked me through the whole process. He advised me thoroughly and helped me decide what route of treatment to choose and accompanied me during treatment. I am quite pleased with results.

I had a tooth ache so I went to see Dr Rubin. The greeters and staff people were kind and welcoming, helping me get onto their WiFi and taking X-rays. Dr Rubin was outstanding, as usual. I feel comfortable around him because he is down to earth, funny and smart. I would not hesitate to go to 8to8. It has been a great experience for me.
