Dr. Chelsea grew up in Lake Havasu City, AZ and attended the University of Arizona in Tucson for her undergraduate degree. She continued on to Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine in Glendale, AZ for her D.M.D graduating in 2013. After graduation she moved to Portland, OR to experience living in new places, including a ton more rain! While Portland was her first OR experience she knew there were places that had less rain, but beautiful seasons; and after 5 years she relocated to Bend, OR.
Dr. Chelsea met Dr. Pressprich prior to the move and they realized they have similar ideals and philosophies in dentistry. Most importantly - to treat patients with the utmost respect as you would treat your own family member. Dr. Chelsea was fortunate to become the new owner of 7 Peaks Dental in June 2018. She enjoys having Dr. Pressprich remain a part of the team and could not be happier with the staff she has created.
Dr. Chelsea enjoys snowboarding, golfing, boating, and many other outdoor activities in her spare time. Above all, traveling is her passion and would like to visit more places. For more extended stories of Dr. Chelsea please read the bio located on the next page.
Welcome to 7 Peaks Dental! I am excited to be here in Bend and to get to know each and everyone of you. I am born and raised in Lake Havasu City, AZ. I come from a small family that values educationand pursuing dreams as I am a third-generation doctor (along with my older brother in Seattle)and a second-generation dentist, following in my fathers footsteps. My mother has worked in adental office, currently, as an office manager as well as previously in the back office, for over 45 years.
Being raised in a household of constant tooth talk is what sparked my interest in thefield at a young age. I do not recall any other career path being an option since the young age ofeight! I am a family person and they are my number one priority with my niece being thehighlight of my life. I remained in Arizona close to my family through most of my life by continuing to undergrad at the University of Arizona in Tucson and then to Midwestern University-College of Dental Medicine in Phoenix. I moved to Portland, OR in 2013 and since came to Bend for both my career and the love of the weather. During my time here, I learned that my hobbies vary seasonally in the Pacific Northwest.
In the winters I enjoy snowboarding and hope to eventually try snowmobiling; while in the summer months, I am usually on the water behind a boat wake-surfing or on the course bettering my golf game. I recently got back into camping and even picked up fly fishing! I am ecstatic about the wealth of outdoor opportunities Bend has to offer. My quiet time at home involves cuddling with my three-pound Yorkshire terrier Beso while watching Netflix or enjoying an adventurous weekend with my boyfriend either with his kids or sipping on a nice bottle of wine. When I get the chance to do so, my greatest passion is traveling. Most of my travel time lately has been spent in Mexico where I can practice speaking Spanish and am able to eat tacos and chilaquiles every day!
Previously, I was involved with the community of Portland metro area through my membership in the Multnomah County Dental Society attending events, continuing education and volunteer work as well as sitting as a delegate for my component chapter of the Oregon Board of Dentistry. I have also participated multiple years in the Oregon Mission of Mercy providing life-changing oral health care to patients that have barriers to oral health care. Since moving here, I became a member of the Central Oregon Dental Society and am enthusiastic about becoming an integral part of this new community as well.
