Visited first time today for oral surgery consultation for my son on a light rainy afternoon. Front desk previously advised to show up 20 min early to register so I did. Filled out some paperwork. Then was called in (didn't wait long) and assistant took a 360 Xray, met Dr. Herman who took a look at the Xray results and also did a quick examination and gave his advice which was to wait 6-12 months to wait for the roots to grow out before work is done. Overall a good and quick experience. Everyone was pleasant. A quick note is they do not have guest wifi.

How bad is a cleaning supposed to hurt? I've been coming here for the past four years and every time I get my teeth cleaned, I am in an immense amount of pain, both during and after the cleaning. (Note: it's not my oral health, I floss daily and get cleanings every 4 months). Another issue is competency . Last December I had some tooth pain and went in for an exam ($55). I was told it could be nerve damage or a cracked tooth and I needed to see the specialist ($85). Specialist told me it's a cracked tooth and I can either get a cap or a root canal. I choose cap. I go in to get the cap put on my tooth and the regular dentist tells me I don't need a cap, just need to replace a filling ($150). Thank God someone caught that mistake! But I never did get my money back for the specialist visit. And more importantly, how are a dentist and a specialist unaware of the difference between a cracked tooth and filling replacement ?

Completely rude and unprofessional receptionist. She is the first person you speak to therefore, she is absolutely ruining business for the dentist. I'm not sure of her name but she was there this weekend in the morning. Also, I think I was over charged for the "copay" which, I'm still waiting on a call to confirm. I if it is the case, that would be considered fraud and I will be reporting it. My daughter will finish her appointment there and after that we are finding a new office. The filling was not filled down well and is uncomfortable! I will be return asap to fix this. The staff is rude, considering they are people who are paid hourly they definitely should NOT be on a high horse. They don't know who they are dealing with or how to treat patients appropriately.

This place is very discriminatory. They are horrible especially there front desk. Not recommend to anyone. I'm surprised they are still in business.

I love my dentist, Dr. Cosman, and I love that the office is open 7 days a week. If you need a TMJ specialist, Dr. Cosman is also an expert in that area. The technician that I've seen the last couple of times is also great. When Dr. Cosman wasn't available I have seen other dentists at times, and then it's been a mixed bag. There have been times where I have waited a long time, times when my appointment time has been altered slightly without telling me (and then been told I was late coming because they changed me to earlier), and times when I've been called the day of and asked to come earlier if possible (and sometimes then still waited!), so those are the drawbacks. Overall though I am happy with the office and have recommended the office to friends and family, who have been happy with them as well.

The first time I've been here the staff is very nice and respectful to me. Will be getting braces in January no complaints from me. Great service and it's appreciated

Have had nothing but great experiences here and have come in multiple times for multiple procedures. Extractions, fillings, cleanings, they've all been seamless and have over all improved my dental health.

I have been a patient at fifth avenue dental associates for about three years I have dental insurance and I've never had an issue with billing. I tried to set up an appointment for my six month cleaning and exam. the receptionist notified me that they would not see me unless I give them my Social Security number which is illegal. You should be very careful when giving out your Social Security number. fifth avenue dental associates are very shady

They schedule your appointment months later and text about your confirmation 30 min before appointment and charge you a cancellation fee of $50. Not customer service oriented place.

Today's was my daughter's 1st dental appt and I was more than satisfied! Dr Glenn was very patient and nice! The whole office is clean! If anything, I think I was a little impatient, maybe more nervous for my daughter! I will definitely be going back in the future!

This practice is focused on money and not your comfort, time or trust. I would not recommend this place to you. I went in today for my Invisalign retainer today after waiting four weeks for an appointment only to find out that the impressions weren't sent out in the first place. I'm told to call in two weeks and they'll see what they can do for have them expedited. I'm told since I'm already there I should take some x-rays tho....... I've been dealing with this since the start of our relationship and since they're paid in full it seems like I'm always the one left hanging. Good luck to you if you decide to get involved with these "professionals".

The staff and dentists are all so extremely patient kind helpful and caring. I am very scared of dental work. They were very understanding and patient with me. I travel over 2 hours to get to their office. But it's worth it! Very professional customer service

I find it very weird that they require social security numbers. Our insurance cards should suffice. Too much fraud going on. Be aware.

Would give them 0 stars if I could. Told them I had a referral from my PCD that was blank due to my PCD wasn't sure which specialist accepted the insurance. They made me reschedule because they referred to portion was blank instead of writing it in and didn't let me write it and continue. Rescheduled for 2 months later, leaving me to suffer with a broken tooth, only to have again an issue with the referral because the insurance office code was missing. Instead of figuring it out, they made me once again go to my PCD to ask for it when all along it was only 2 letters and could have been obtained by anyone from the insurance company. The girls in the front are absolutely lazy, unprofessional, and the dentists just look to have you come back 100 times just to keep billing your insurance. It's amazing because if they couldn't get the code, they were going to charge me $100 to take me in when they accept the insurance. Such a joke of an office.

Absolutely the worst place!!!! I have a dental emergency that can not wait. They were very unhelpful and would not see me for 2 months. What a terrible place!!! Do not waist your time or money with them.

I have been seeing Dr. Quinn regularly and he has amazing skills as a dentist that I haven't encountered before. He makes sure to save your teeth instead of suggesting implants and goes to a great deal of detail explaining every step during the procedure. Dr. Quinn has phenomenal patient skills and is always compassionate with dental pain. The office manages to a schedule me in within a normal time frame. There is not enough that I can say about Dr. Quinn. He is on time with his appointments and I don't wait long in the waiting area to see him at all. I do really enjoy the teeth cleaning at this office as it is very thorough and done well.

Going back to Brooklyn was the best decision I could have made for my family. Fifth Avenue Dental cares and they make sure your taken care of. They truly make a difference and my sons are more active in their dental health. They have made a complete turn around in their brushing and flossing habits. Also, they understand people on a human level and the way they treat patients is amazing. No worries about aggressive dentistry here you can relax.
