Dr. Leeson and his wife live in St. Petersburg with their rescue cat, Mittens. After working in private practice for the past few years in the Tampa Bay area Dr. Leeson has decided to start his own practice in the community he lives in and loves.
He enjoys giving back to the community. He volunteers with local charity Tampa Bay Watch where he is committed to donation a portion of all new patient proceeds to supporting the non-profits efforts to restoring the bay and keeping our beaches clean.
He also volunteers each year with the Florida Mission of Mercy Outreach Program which provides free dentistry to the underserved population. When he is not practicing Dentistry Dr. Leeson and his wife spend most of their free time cooking, brewing beer, playing sports and just enjoying the outdoors.

Dr Leeson and his staff are amazing! Has 8 crowns down along with fillings and cleanings, everything is done with the upmost professionalism. Highly recommend them for cosmetic dentistry along with general dentistry!

My family had been using the young Doctors services for the past three years. We had been happy with their services despite being told we were in network with services being performed and then told we were out of network when presented the bill. We bit our tongue and continued services despite the large out of pocket expenses despite having awesome insurance. A few weeks back my scheduled cleaning was canceled by the Doctors office and rescheduled via text. I thought how impersonal considering it was them canceling the appt? But no big deal. I showed up today for a cleaning $110 out of pocket but they insisted I needed the yearly x-rays and exam right now or they couldn't do the cleaning. I told them I had a tennis lesson in an hour so I was limited on time. Could we just do the cleaning? The Doctor said what is wrong as if he didn't hear me just tell him I had tennis in a hour. I also told him the out of pocket would be an additional $352 for the x-rays and exam and because I am in a hurry my cleaning would be rushed if we were to complete everything in 45 minutes. I have been in enough dental offices to know this would be difficult to achieve. I finally said can I just get a cleaning today? He said no an he couldn't do that because I would come after him( I guess he meant litigiously) if he missed something. So now he is insulting me all because I was in a hurry to an appointment rescheduled twice because of their office's inadequacies. Sorry Dr. You have lost my family's business.

I really enjoyed my visit with the 4th Street Dental. The staff and doctors were absolutely incredible. They have one of the best bedside manners that I've seen in a very long time. They treat you as if you've been a part of their family all alone. I would recommend them to all who would need professional, kind, attention to details, and courteous/professional dental care and services.

After years of avoiding going to the dentist (due to severe anxiety & previous horrible experiences) I apprehensively made an appt. Despite being tardy (I drove away twice before coming inside) the woman at front desk was extremely patient with me from start to finish. Though there is a lot of work to be done I cannot express how grateful I went to this office. Dr Brian and Angel, his assistant, were so kind, gentle, non-judgemental & most importantly knowledgeable throughout the process that for the first time I can ever remember I left the dentist feeling hopeful about having the smile I have always wanted.

DO NOT RESCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT. You won't be able to reschedule for 4 months. You will work for them and be only under their terms. I let them know days in advance that I had to reschedule... They canceled my appointment and did not call to reschedule. When I called 4 times, left message and was returned the next day, I was told they could get me in 'after the new year'. It's September! And the Dentist wanted me back at this time, right now. Wonder what would happen if I called in as a new client, think there would be availability before the new year? ...

I always have a very positive experience at 4th Street Family Dentist... The dental hygienist is very thorough! The dentist pays attention to concerns and everyone here is very professional and caring.

This was my second time visiting and I'm really impressed by this team. Everyone is super kind, takes the time to explain everything and answer any questions, and they frequently check in to make sure you are comfortable. A great dentist experience

Staff & service is exceptional from the moment I walked in and was greeted by a smile & warm welcome to a beautiful & clean office. My hygienist, Britney was professional, caring, very thorough, and made my cleaning a great experience! Dr. Leeson was wonderful, friendly, and knowledgeable in explaining what I needed to do to get my gum health back on track. I really felt very comfortable & trusting with the staff and their professionalism! I also think it's wonderful that they are involved in the community & donate a portion of their proceeds of (new patients) to Tampa Bay Watch! All around spectacular service and so glad I found my new dentist office right on 4th! Thank you for the excellent service!!

I schedule an appointment months ahead of time, they send you a text to confirm the appointment, which I reply to. They call to get my insurance information, but as I had a new card coming in, the dentist (yes, the dentist, not the staff) says to not worry, to bring my new card in. Then you meet the staff, and the staff is rude and entitled, with zero common sense. I wish I believed the reviews mentioning the rude staff (Erika). What a terrible experience.

The staff is very rude and will gaslight you into covering for them not doing their job. The dentist says one thing but the receptionist says another. Terrible way to treat patients. Please check how your staff behaves.

From the front desk, to the hygienist and doctor, everyone is so attentive and caring. They take their time cleaning and giving good advise on maintenance, I'm so happy to finally finding my forever dentist!!

I have been going for almost two years. The staff is friendly and the dentist is nice. Luckily, I have only needed to see him 2x (initial exam and cap replacement). They have all the new modern equipment and am in and out like clockwork.

Great office and staff! Dr. Brian Leeson and his staff are very professional and take their time to explain what needs to be done and your options. The dental savings plan is a good option for those of us without dental insurance.

Great experience at St Pete Family Dentistry. Dr. Leeson and his staff were kind and professional. I'm a snowbird with an irregular schedule, but Dr. Leeson was able to fit-me-in and develop a care plan that supports my lifestyle. The location is great - a short walk for anyone living in Crescent Lake.
