Dr. Braun has been in practice since 2007. He obtained his dental degree from Creighton University and is a member of the American Dental Association, Colorado Dental Association, Metropolitan Denver Dental Society, Rocky Mountain Osseointegration Study Club, American Academy of Sleep Medicine, Colorado Sleep Society, Denver Dental Forum, and the Pierre Fauchard Academy. Dr. Braun has also been selected by his peers as one of Denver's top dentists in 5280 Magazine. When Dr. Braun is not busy in the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife Meghan and three sons Jack, Oscar, and Charlie.
Dr. Whitestone received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Tennessee at Memphis in 2008. Following graduation, he completed a General Practice Residency at Denver Health Hospital. Dr. Whitestone joined 4th Avenue Family Dentistry after practicing for three years in Vail and Boulder, Colorado. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Colorado Dental Association, Metropolitan Denver Dental Society, American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, and the Denver Dental Forum. Dr. Whitestone spent a year between his undergraduate education at Auburn University and dental school living in Telluride, where he met his wife, Noelle. Following dental school, they quickly moved back to Colorado with their dog, Alta. They enjoy running, hiking 14ers, camping and skiing during their free time. Drs. Braun and Whitestone are longtime Denver residents with strong ties to Colorado and the Denver area.
Had my first crown put on today. Considering, the experience was amazing! Didnt hurt at all and Dr. Kevin was very personable and was great at explaining the process. Great receptionists and hygienists as well. Will highly recommend!
Everybody hates going to the dentist, right? I definitely did. Always dreaded it for a multitude of reasons, but bottom line is that its typically just an unpleasant experience. Not sure how these guys have hacked the system but the experience has been transformed for me. Im not gonna say the visits are the 2 highlights of my year, but i have no anxiety and really no qualms about going to the dentist. Dr Whitestone is a great doctor and really seems like a great guy. All the hygienists are so friendly. If you have a bad experience, its probably time for some introspection :)

The management here is absolutely horrible, very unhelpful and never offer solutions. You know it's bad when you come in for cleanings and they always have new staff. This place is more like a factory than a dental office. They care more about the money than they do about quality dental care. If you want to get bad service and irregular dental cleanings this is definitely the place to go.

Casually tells me they are booking more than 7 months out for cleanings I thought cleanings were supposed to be every 6 months? You MIGHT be booking a few too many patients here my dudes.

I called to postpone my first appointment, and was told that I was now black listed because I called to cancel my first appt too late... Which I was. I was calling because my son tested positive for Covid the day before, and they are open on Sundays. I never got that part out because they hung up so fast. That was back in early 2021. Stressful time, I can respect the policy, so I thought I would let it go. Then I got this text on 9/12/22: "Dear DoNotSchdMatthe - Happy birthday to a very important person...YOU! From 4th Avenue Family Dentistry" One star for service, two stars for comedy.

In August, I was called on the day of my scheduled appointment and told the dental hygienist wasn't able to come to work and so the appointment was cancelled. I was given the next available appointment in FEBRUARY. That was the soonest they had open. They said they would call and let me know once an appointment opened up and they never did. I called twice to reschedule, and they still have no openings until February. So I guess I just don't get to have a dental cleaning, and there's no follow up, and nothing done to make it right. I'm going to find a different dentist.

The only negative experience I've received is the extensive wait time to see the actual dentist after a routine cleaning. My last cleanings took about 15-20 minutes, and I waiting just over 25 minutes the last few times and still never saw the dentist before needing to leave. The staff and dentist are friendly, they communicate well, and I have no doubts about the care I received. I have left the practice due to my time not being considered valuable.

Dr. Braun and his assistant Kathleen are amazing!!! I have seriously horrible dentist anxiety, avoided the dentist for way too many years and was recommended to this office when I needed an emergency appointment. Both of them talked me right out of my panic attack and got my fillings done in no time. Excellent service, excellent humans. I'm now excited to go to the dentist and tell all my friends when they talk about their teeth that they need to switch their dentist and go here, !!! - kaity

They messed up my crown. There was a hole in it that I could see myself in the mirror when I got home from it being put in. They did not mention this obvious problem to me. Rather, when I brought it up at the next visit they acted surprised. Then they tried to talk me out of the procedure to fix the crown, seemingly because it meant more work for them.

I've been going to 4th Avenue Family dentistry for years and I've had many dentists in the past. Dr. Whitestone is very knowledgeable, personable and friendly and that goes to all the staff as well. Everyone that works there is just great and they care and will get you the care you need. It always feels like they go above and beyond and I'm so appreciative and happy!!

I came here after two dentists I had seen that I did not care for. The first dentist told me I had a cavity and the second dentist told me my crown was cracked. When I came here they told me neither of those things were true. They proceeded to do X-rays to make sure everything looked alright and sent me on my way. They were quick, efficient and extremely nice. The front desk staff had a few issues finding my insurance but once I arrived they got it taken care of. Amazing staff and great experience!!! Thank you so much!!!

I have always hated going to the dentist but not here. Every single person that works there is so incredibly sweet. They always remember you some how and just treat you like family. They are busy for obvious reasons but I don't care it's well worth the wait. I'll never go any where else.

Excellent, friendly dentist! I had to go in for an emergency appointment, and they accommodated me incredibly well. They totally planned around my schedule! The staff is nice, helpful, and reliable. Highly recommend.

Very acommodating to someone from out of state with an emergency! Terrible phobia of the dentist office and they calmed all my fears. Dr. Braun is the most gentle dentist with a great personality! So grateful for this experience!
