I was lucky enough to be born and raised in Kalispell, Montana in the old hospital on the east side but I grew up in Bigfork/Woods Bay before I moved to Kalispell in the early 80s. This was a big deal to move to town! I graduated from Flathead High School, 1992 and I spent my first year of college at FVCC before transferring to the University of Colorado, Boulder where I graduated in 1997. This was a huge deal because I was the first in family to graduate college and, especially with double degrees. This was all thanks to excellent education, amazing instructors that were passionate about their fields of research. Fortunately, I was inspired every day by my classes, the instructors, and the subject matter at hand.
After I finished my bachelors degree, I attended Creighton University where I graduated in 2004. Dental school was a phenomenal grueling experience, but I absolutely loved it. One of my fondest memories was being on the intramural all girls league flag football team for four years!
Why did I choose Dentistry? I worked as a dental assistant while I was applying for medical school and this work experience changed my mind and heart about medical school. I had hands on experience in dentistry as an expanded duties dental assistant and I fell in love with it. To me honestly the best part of my profession is helping people and making them feel comfortable and giving them their smile that they can be proud of! Nothing is more important to me than creating a welcoming and genuine environment for my patients and having my patients be proud and excited to smile! My belief is, no matter what their dental needs are, we will get through it together!
406Dentisty allows me to provide a different style of dentistry. An approachable, down to earth experience that allow patients to connect with me and be comfortable enough to be their true self. We will never pass judgment, belittle them, or berate them. No need for any patients to be concerned about their past oral health/hygiene/neglect. It is vital that they know and feel theyve come to the right place! Absolutely, nobody will ever feel shame or guilt about their smile. As a united team, we will be focusing on the goal at hand, a happy healthy mouth and beautiful smile! Often times patients will tell me that they are so embarrassed for me to see their teeth, occasionally reluctant to open their mouth and think that I'm going to be mad at them for not taking care of their teeth, that will never happen!
What makes me who I am? I think a lot of who I am as not only a dentist but as a person comes from my family. I have two brothers and I am the oldest. Luckily, my youngest brother, Joel and his wife Bethany live in Kalispell. My other brother, Myron is currently living in Portland, Oregon. Also, I have one son, and a daughter I am adopting from Haiti. We cannot wait for all her paperwork to process and for her to be home in Montana!
My family and Joels family have so much fun together! We love to play at Echo lake, like to get wood, camp fires and family dinners. Sports is and has been a large part of my brothers lives, and my son, Tabbi is finishing middle school and desperately wants to play football for Flathead like his two uncles! Joel was actually inducted into the Hall of Fame for University of Montana for football!
As for my dental history, I have Practiced in Loveland/Fort Collins Colorado for 10 years before moving home to Kalispell, which leads me to my reasoning to creating 406Dentistry. I wanted to create my own brand and office so I can give my patients, my time, show them kindness, that I KNOW all patients and staff deserves. The level of professionalism and care I expect in an office is now attainable with the opening of 406Dentistry! I simply cannot wait to meet all the new patients and give them the dental experience they have all be waiting for!
406Dentistry is unique in many ways but one of the most important ways is, I honor dental insurance fees and will always have transparent and honest financial discussions with each patient. The partnership will be a doctor/patient team to meet the goal and desires for each patients oral health, all while creating a comfortable, warm, welcoming and relaxing environment

I love going to 406 Dentistry! The office is lovely, and the staff is so pleasant. I used to always dread going to the dentist, but not anymore. Thanks for always making it an easy experience every single time I go in.

Absolutely loved this dentist ... all the office staff was wonderful ..... Prices were very reasonable!!! If you need a dentist in the Kalispell or surrounding areas please do yourself a favor and call 406 dentistry!!!!

Best experience from front desk to Dr K and everyone in between! Dr K and staff are compassionate & caring and experts in their field. I transferred the entire family to 406 care. I'm so appreciative for 406 Dentistry.

Dr. K is great! I have been here twice now, one for a cleaning and to get a crown placed. The staff is amazing and friendly! The environment is welcoming and they treat you like family.

Let's be real here, finding a new dentist is scary. It's not somehing to take lightly and is honestly probably a reason people avoid going to the dentist. Let me tell you though, this is hands down the greatest dentist office I've EVER been to. The way that they've cared for myself and my family has blown me away. I'm grateful to know that businesses with wholesome and genuine people still exist across our valley. Dr K is wonderful (um, where have you been my whole life????). Her staff are ALL top notch. I would highly recommend 406 dentistry! Through out my whole visit the entire staff was courteous, welcoming, and friendly. Dr. K was thorough and told me everything she was doing during my exam. After my visit they gave me a quote on my upcoming dental work so I wasn't stuck with a surprise bill or clueless before I scheduled my procedures. Thank you Dr. K and staff for doing an awesome job!

This is the hands down best dentist office I jave ever been to!!!!! The ladies here are amazing! They care about your comfort, taking care of your pain, and making sure they go out of the way to get you what you need as soon as you need it. This is also second place I have ever had my tooth pulled and she was so quick in getting out, I was ever so grateful as it certainly is uncomfortable pressure. I would highly recommend this office to anyone!!!!!!!!!!!! Will never go anywhere else!

I've been in and out of dentist offices my entire life and until now I haven't been able to eat or even just place my teeth together without severe pain. After my last appointment with 406 Dentistry I can bite down for the first time without that pain. Wow I am so incredibly happy with the team they have put together and Dr. K. This was my absolute first time walking out of a dentist appointment and feeling like I can do anything. Thanks to 406 Dentistry I can now eat and enjoy life the way life was intended. Feeling amazing.

I have not had this personable an experience at a dentist since I was a kid. You know, back in the day when your dentist remembered you. 406 was so welcoming and even acknowledged that I was a new patient and everyone including the dentist welcomed me. The office is beautiful and clean. I also appreciated that they didn't upsell me on some expensive procedure that I don't need and instead sent me with some medicated mouthwash for $12. With my old dentist, they would have recommendations surgery of my gums like many times before. Go here. You won't regret it.

By far, the worst dental experience I have ever had. I have never in my life posted a review of anything but I am taking the time to do so now because of how poorly I was treated. To that end: No one at the front desk to greet me when I arrived. Dental hygienist had a very rude manner. Had to re-do my x-rays. The dentist was noticeably sick and unmasked when she initially entered the examination room. After masking up, she did a very quick cleaning of my teeth, a very brief review of my x-rays and a cursory discussion of the state of my teeth, overall. To sum, she seemed utterly disinterested in her profession. To top it off, their polishing machine was broken and apparently had been broken for some time. I was not notified of this beforehand. Yet I was still charged the full rate for a cleaning and polishing. When I asked the hygienist if I would be able to return for a polishing, she said no. In short, I do not recommend this dental office, at all. If it were possible to rate this business 'zero' stars, I would do so. Post script: I subsequently phoned their office and insisted on getting my teeth polished as I had paid for the service. The follow-up polishing was equally incomplete, sloppy, perfunctory, unprofessional and wholly disappointing. Do not go to this place. A robot would have been more respectful and pleasant to engage with...and likely would have done a better job. Cheers,

I was literally in tears this morning trying to find a dentist, that was female, and that took my insurance. By the end of all of my phone calls, I felt defeated. Until I got a referral to 406Dentistry. I called, having very low hopes, if any. I spoke with Georgia, and was absolutely stunned. Not only did she take all of my fears away, but she has me looking forward to my appointment! They take my insurance, there is a female doctor, and I couldn't be more excited. I went from crying tears of defeat, to tears of happiness! If the rest of the staff is as amazing as who I spoke to this morning, I think I may have found a dentists office I can feel comfortable with!! Thank you Georgia for making me feel like part of the family, and getting me in so quick! I look forward to meeting everyone!!!
