Hey there, Im T-Bone! Im a practicing dentist who has faced plenty of ups and downs in this game we call dental practice. Like so many of you, being a dentist and practice owner has forced me to adapt several times both clinically and how I run my dental business.
I was born in India and moved to the USA when I was 2 years old. Growing up in North Carolina, I actually lived in our family motel and watched my parents work 24 hours a day to provide a better future for me and my brother. Thats where the practical and sensible approach to running a dental practice comes from.
3D Dentists is focused on helping dentists stay ahead by combining proven dental business strategies and technology driven clinical excellence. The 3D community is alive with dentists at various stages of their careers, but sharing a common focus to build a dental business that helps them succeed in life. 3D Dentists works with best in class industry partners who are committed to helping dentists achieve their dream dental practice.
In 2003, Dr. Tarun Agarwal and Dr. Sameer Puri founded the Townie Meeting for the DentalTown community. The Townie Meeting was the beginning of a love for providing continuing education and helping to change dentists lives by focusing on education, entertainment, and camaraderie. While no longer leading Townie Meeting (since 2012), these principles still guide T- Bone today at 3D Dentists.
What started out as just sharing clinical cases in the early days of DentalTown to become a better dentist, turned into invitations to speak on modern clinical techniques and practical business principles to dentists all over the United States.
Always dreaming of having his own dedicated training center, the dream became reality in 2013. This dedicated space came to life on the second floor of Raleigh Dental Arts TBones private dental practice.
Just as your dental practice grows by adding great team members and expanding procedures offered, 3D Dentists grew by expanding our course offerings with industry expert instructors. Each instructor focuses on providing practical education based on their real life experiences as practicing dentists.
All things 3D are brought to you by an amazing & fun team of talented professionals. Each member of our teaching team is not only a recognized industry expert, but also a practice owner. More importantly, we all focus on making dental education fun and impactful.

Dr. Sully Graduated from the University of Tennessee Knoxville and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Tennessee College of Dentistry in 2015. Dr. Sully practices alongside his dad in a new building in Brentwood Tennessee. Sullivan Dental Partners is also home to 3D Dentists Nashville Training Center.

Recently Started Binge Listening the Dentistry Made Simple Podcast. What an amazing service to Dentistry! I know and practice much of what is talked about but I learn from EVERY episode. Had I had this leadership and perspective 20 years ago I think I may have gotten where I have in half the time. EVERY dentist can learn the big picture from T-Bone.

Could not be happier with choosing 3D Dentists for my implant training. I have completed other courses and returned home without an implementation strategy. This course is different - the instructors, the support and clinical teams, the retreat, the food, everything was amazing. I truly felt like they actually cared about my learning and my success. I would strongly encourage anyone who is thinking about implementing implants into your practice to attend this course! And stay at the retreat, don't stay at a hotel - you will get so much more out of your week by staying at the retreat and conversing with other dentists outside of the clinic setting. I truly could not be more thankful that I found this course and this group!

3D Dentists Mastermind Mind program has been a game changer for my practice. T Bone and Sully have a proven system, that when implemented, take your practice to the next level. Since opening my start up practice almost 7 years ago, I've had many different business mentors. What I was missing was a dental specific mentor. I have finally found that under T Bone and Sully. Following their system has helped my practice become more profitable while we are working smarter not harder. Another great benefit is meeting like minded dentists and building relationships with them. Everyone is one at a different place in their journey, so it's great to share ideas and best practices. Recently attended the S1 Sleep course and was very impressed with the instruction and facility. They provide everything you need and break down all the complicated mess of implementation into easy starting steps for you. Instructors are ready to answer questions and even take one on one time where time allows to discuss your own unique situations to help you better relate to the content. The retreat is also very nice and a great place to come together with other colleagues and maybe make a few friends. Every thing is taken care above and beyond leaving any attendee only to focus on learning and growing in a very comfortable atmosphere. Great courses for helping breaking down implementation and not drowning you in science

Just coming back from the weekend at the digital implant continuum course. Everything was so helpful and well explained! You have all the opportunities to ask any questions you wanted and they will take the time to answer them. Tarun and the mentors were very hands on and great at showing you the tips and tricks! Will definitely recommend if you are looking to advance your skills to treat your patients! Shoutout to Sully and his hibachi cooking skills!

Just returning from the digital All on X course and it was fantastic. I feel like T Bone and everyone that teaches with 3D really focuses on real world application and setting us up for successful implementation. There is always an action plan and they are super responsive even after you leave the course. I have taken Sleep Apnea Implementation with Erin as well as the Case Acceptance course with T Bone and Sully. Same experience across the board, which is why I keep coming back for additional CE. If you put some effort in and follow the action plan these courses will transform your practice as they have mine.

The future of dental CE. Tbone can analyze and solve clinical and practice management problems better than anyone. His ability to assemble a team of like minded educators: Sully, Erin, Hootan, Ballou, etc is going to keep things growing for years to come. No pretense, it's all about having fun and learning. I took a Sleep Apnea 101 course at 3D Dentists. I highly recommend the course. I was impressed with the delivery, organization, and their incredible hospitality. It was everything you'd every want from a course: great information, fun presentation, amazing food, fun mixed with learning, and a binder with everything I needed to implement Sleep Apnea treatment in my practice.

I recently completed a sleep apnea course and feel so excited about everything I learned. There is a HUGE amount of info to absorb, but the instructors made it fun with music, jokes, and demonstrative videos. They made it interactive by including frequent Q&A sessions and providing downloadable source materials. I know I will use this knowledge and am excited to start helping people with sleep apnea!

I adored my at 3-D Dentist (it's still going) ! T-Bone, Erin, Sully, Eric, JP were i all down to earth educators. The customer service was top notch! I worked with Meredith to figure out what courses were best for me to attend based on my professional desires! I felt like I learned as much during the course as I did when the course was over and we were all hanging out at T-Bones! There is so much knowledgeable to absorb that it truly becomes an addiction to go to 3D Dentist! I just can't stop.....

The CE offered by 3D Dentists really stands out above the rest. I say this because not only do you learn something new to bring to your practice, but they hold you accountable for actually implementing it. It's so easy to take a ton of fancy CE and hope to bring it back to your office, but then get bogged down in the overthinking and daily "weeds" and then hope to start doing the things you learned one day (let's be real...it ends up not happening). Tarun really helps you clarify the why, how, and when so that you can implement proven practices and meet your personal and professional goals. I really can't recommend 3D Dentists enough!

We just started our online training for S1-Sleep Apnea implementation at our offices. These people are just phenomenal. The content is great, simple and easy to follow and implement. I have always enjoyed restoring implants and recently came to the realization it's time to start placing them myself. I asked numerous dental colleagues which course was the best to start my implant placement journey and they all pointed me towards 3D Dentists. This course did not disappoint! When I started the Digital Implant Continuum I had not done dental extractions in over 15 years. Immediately after the course I was extracting and grafting and placing implants. The live patient experiences gave me the confidence to replicate what I learned at the course and do it in my office. The support from Tbone, the mentors and the other doctors in the course has been incredible. Tbone's goal is to help make sure you reach your goals and be successful to make you a surgeon!
