He strives to always stay current on the newest techniques and continuously attends dental continuing education courses and workshops to further his knowledge and hone his skills. When hes not creating beautiful smiles, Dr. Bustos enjoys spending time outdoors and living an active lifestyle with his friends and family. An avid foodie, you can find him at many of the local restaurants as well as the Bradenton and Sarasota farmers markets.

Dr. Tyler M. Blackenburg, DMD was raised in Alabama and has lived in Florida since 2002. He received his undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree from Auburn University. Subsequently, he obtained his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Upon completing his dental degree, Dr. Blackenburg completed a 3 year residency in Periodontology at Nova Southeastern University where he received a certificate in Periodontology. The residency included extensive training on management of gum disease, treatment of gum recession, dental implants and bone grafting.
Dr. Blackenburg is a board certified Periodontist (Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology). He has devoted his professional career to all aspects of periodontology with special interests in the treatment/management of dental implants, bone reconstruction, gum disease, and delivery of comfortable high quality dentistry. He is able to work hand in hand with restorative specialists and they are able to save teeth which would once be removed. To keep abreast of the latest developments in periodontology, Dr. Blackenburg has always exceeded the continuing education requirements of the State of Florida requirements.
Dr. Blackenburgs interests include both salt and freshwater fishing, beekeeping, gardening, college football, and spending time with family and friends. One of the most cherished times of the year will be the annual week long family beach trip in the panhandle of Florida. It has been a 30+ year tradition and this year he expects 28 family members to be present.
Catherine was born in Peru and moved to Maryland at the age of twenty-one. She attended ACT College, where she focused her studies on Medical Office Administration. She continued her education at Liberty University and majored in Psychology and Counseling. She has over eighteen years experience in the dental field and has a desire to encourage and mentor her employers to reach their full potential. As the Practice Administrator, Catherine takes pride in maintaining and creating innovating ways to make the patients experience an unforgettable one.
In 2015, Catherine and her husband visited and fell in love with Florida. They immediately relocated to the Bradenton-Sarasota area and have been living the best life ever since with their two Maltese fur babies, Charlie and Sergio.
Katelyn is a Florida native. She earned her dental hygiene degree at State College of Florida in 2016 and is certified in administering local anesthesia. From a young age, she was fascinated with the dental profession stemming from years in braces and dental visits. She strives to provide a gentle but thorough approach to caring for patients. Her favorite motto is knowledge is power believing that educating patients on how to keep their teeth and gums healthy is invaluable.
Since then, Diana has been very passionate about her career, treating all her patients as family. Diana strives to make sure her patients have a positive dental experience, and she is bilingual in English and Spanish.

I'm not sure why this office advertises 24/7 emergency dental care when that is not actually the case. When I came into the office asking for help with an urgent emergency while being severely in pain, I was told the Doctor wasn't available and was given a list of other dental offices that might be able to see me. Extremely frustrating when the website quite literally states they provide emergency dental care to ensure that patients can get the help they need. Either stick to your word and provide the service you claim to provide, or do not claim you even offer the service. Very misleading. Do better.

Refused to do other work on my teeth because i opted to have experts remove my amalgams with a holistic approach! Told me to have all work done elsewhere in that case. Mentality of a child throwing a temper tantrum out of ignorance and selfishness. Unbelievable.

Went for my initial visit and was told I needed to have a deep cleaning. The hygienist stepped out of the room and came back a few minutes later informing me that they confirmed my insurance would cover the cleaning. Well 3 months later and many phone calls to office and insurance my claim was denied and I have to pay it out of pocket due to the fact the I did NOT need a deep cleaning. The office only statement when I called to complain was " You signed the treatment plan" Stay away unless you want to be mislead and over charged.

First visit to 3D-Dentistry due to an emergency. A friend referred me to Dr. Bustos at 3D and was given an appointment that morning. I was treated by Dr. Bustos and the staff was friendly, professional and efficient. I could not be more pleased with 3D Dentistry and have made this group my dental care provider.

Hang on to your wallet if you let them do your treatment. The dentist "recommends" aggressive treatment that is not required. I had a dentist review my chart after the visit to 3d with a recommendation of eight caps. I was told by the dentist who reviewed my chart that the plan was aggressive and I did not need eight caps. I was referred by 3d to an entodontist for two root canals which I had completed. I returned to 3-d dental because I had to have permanent fillings done by them. Prior to the procedure a technician advised the cost would be close tov$650 for two fillings which I would have to pay because I had used all my insurance. I left. I got the fillings at a different dentist for close to $300 instead of $650. In addition to this, I had not used all my insurance yet. I would never return to 3 D dental. I also called the office to talk to them before I wrote this review. They could offer zero explanations. I will end this review by saying everyone was nice at the office, but don't let this fool you. If you are interested in a good price, accurate information, and making sure you get accurate info on insurance, this was not my experience. Finally I went to a different dentist. After his exam I was told I had zero cavities and needed zero caps. You decide.....
