Born and raised in Venezuela, Dr. Lida Paez began her dental studies with a certified dental assistant (CDA) certificate. The faculty voted her Best Hands On Skills! She immediately went on to earn her bachelors degree in biology from Georgia Southern University. She then received her Doctor in Dental Medicine degree from the Medical College of Georgia. As a dentist, she has worked in practices throughout Georgia, including Lilburn, Dallas, Marietta, Norcross, Dacula, and Tucker.
Thanks to her wide-ranging experience, Dr. Paez developed a terrific ability to make even the most anxious patients feel comfortable. She joined 3640 Dental, a practice that has been around for over 50 years, in 2016. She enjoys practicing ethical dentistry, offering patient-centered care, and transforming her patients smiles into mini works of art that change their lives for the better. She also loves serving her community and helping people get healthier. Since she grew up in Venezuela, she is comfortable communicating with patients in both English and Spanish.
Outside of work, her favorite pastimes include playing volleyball and kickball, hanging out with her dogs, Bella and Aegon, and training in Capoeira, a type of martial art that uses elements of dance, acrobatics, and music.
Dr. Fred Angeletti has been a general dentist since 1974. He worked in private practice until 2017, when he sold his business. After fulfilling a two-year contract for the new owner, he retired in 2019.
A year into retirement, however, Dr. Angeletti realized he had quit working too soon and that he missed his passion. He was fortunate enough to join Dr. Paezs practice working Wednesdays and Fridays to continue his love for dentistry.
Inspired by a high school biology teacher to pursue a career in science, Dr. Walter Grayson received a Bachelor of Science degree from Presbyterian College in 1974, then earned his DDS from Emory University School of Dentistry in 1978.
Every decision related to his patients dental care is based on the premises of truthfulness and his desire to provide the best dental care possible. He has enjoyed many professional and personal advantages while being surrounded by the finest dentists and dental support personnel throughout his career with Henry J. Hudson and Associates (former occupant of 3640 Chamblee Tucker Road) and now with 3640 Dental and Dr. Lida Paez. He has improved the smiles of many patients during his career. He is skilled in many areas of dentistry, including restorative dentistry and cosmetic dentistry.
Away from the office, he enjoys restoring his 1968 Mustang, of which he is the proud original owner. Like many dentists, he has an artistic streak. He enjoys creating artwork with pastels, watercolors, and pen and ink.
