Dr. Anthony Brucci started his childhood dream of becoming a dentist at Arizona State University, where he majored in biology. Next, he graduated with honors from the University of Louisville and received his DMD (Doctor of Dental Medicine) in 1994. After his board certification from Indiana State University in May 2000, Dr. Brucci joined the practice of Premier Dental Group. He is an active member of the Chicago Dental Society and the American Dental Association, as well as local dental societies.
Dr. Brucci is well versed in all areas of general dentistry but has developed a special interest in implants and restorative dentistry. His philosophy on patient care is providing quality care that is cost-effective. He has opened his dental office to students in need of externships, as well as to college students who might be interested in dentistry as their career path. In addition, Dr. Brucci also has donated and is continually working with the National Foundation of Dentistry for the Handicapped.
Dr. Brucci has been married to his wife, Roseanne, for 20 years and has three beautiful daughters, Ava, Nina and Sophia. He resides in Elmhurst, Illinois, where he enjoys fishing, golfing and spending quality time with his family.
Dr. Fadi Akhras was raised in a medical family. His father is a surgeon, his brothers are physicians and his sister is a pharmacist. Dr. Akhras completed his dental education at the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Massachusetts. He received his training in orthodontics at the University of Buffalo New York School of Dentistry. Dr. Akhras is a member of the local and national orthodontic societies.
Dr. Atassi has more than twenty years of experience in the field of periodontics and dental implants. He earned his dental degree from Tufts University and his specialty training from Louisiana State University. He has two master degrees, and he is a diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology.
He has several publications in refereed and peer-reviewed journals. While most of his time is devoted to private practice, he has also lectured on aesthetics and dental implants as an invited speaker at both national and international meetings.
Maricela has been with our team since July 2013. She enjoys meeting all of our patients and working along with them to help them smile again. She loves our team and supporting the doctors and staff to fulfill all the needs of the practice.
Michelle graduated from Fox College in May 2018 with a degree in dental hygiene. She joined 34th Street Dental Care in September of 2018. Dental hygiene has given her the opportunity to meet and assist the oral health needs of many patients. When shes not working, she enjoys spending time with her family, dancing and exploring new places. She looks forward to meeting new patients and to continuing to care for our current patients oral hygiene needs.
Maricruz was a dentist in Mexico before joining our team in September 2020, and she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Universidad de Guadalajara. She was a dentist in Mexico! She loves the dentists and staff she works with. Everyone here is so friendly and nice we are like a family!
Nicole joined our dental team in May 2021. She is a US Army veteran and plans on going back to school, using her GI Bill benefits to become a dentist. She loves learning from each doctor and hygienist here, watching their different approaches to patient care. She tries to assist everyone in the office where she can and help our patients get in and out.
Evelyn appreciates working as a team and getting to learn new things every day. She has been a receptionist at 34th Street Dental Care since September 2020. Evelyn has a daughter whom she loves. She enjoys keeping things organized.
Bertha has been a smile at the front desk since September 2014, meeting and greeting all our wonderful patients. She is also here to help walk patients through the payment process. She considers herself the fun one at the office, and the most afraid of insects!

Dr Atassi is an outstanding doctor. I had dental implants done with him and he performed each procedure with great attention to detail and was very efficient. Called in because I had a little concern about the healing process. He handled everything super well. He gave me the attention needed right away and even made time to take a look at the situation the very next day! Turns out everything is healing properly and I am honestly a very pleased customer with his services. I highly recommend Dr Atassi and his team for any dental work that you need done! I promise, you won't be disappointed! Doctors like Dr Atassi are hard to find! Thank you!

I don't leave many reviews but I had to for this dentist. Never have I felt more comfortable with a dentist in my entire life. Dr Anthony A. is so outgoing and friendly and he didn't make me feel bad for not seeing a dentist in so long. Not to mention, they got me in right away because I was very concerned about a tooth and having minor pain. The rest of the staff, also made me feel so comfortable. Everyone seems so happy to be there and you can tell they really enjoy their jobs. They have a new patient for life. Thank you to *ALL* of you!

Since I started to go to 34th st Dental Care I've had the pleasure of having the sweetest dentist. Michelle Esparza is caring, gentle and a pleasure to see at every visit. She makes the visit more enjoyable. I will recommend her and the office to anyone that needs good dental care. Love you Michelle. Stay sweet.

This is a five-star review, with one caveat that I'll explain below. The office staff couldn't be nicer, period. They're great at answering phones, but emails don't necessarily get answered; however, the main thing is that it's easy to get through via phone - they believe in answering those incoming calls and not making clients wait. The staff are well trained and know exactly what they're doing. One can use Spanish or English here, which is great for folks who need the choice, or for folks like me who just switch back and forth randomly. I've been seen on-time every visit, with one exception, but that happens - they give everyone the attention they need once they're taken to the exam rooms. Maricruz is a highly educated hygienist who studied in both Mexico and the USA; she's kind, pleasant, and she makes my teeth look and feel so clean. She performed a miracle on my tea-stained teeth this week! Maricruz is the only hygienist who's been assigned to me, and she's stellar. Dr. Brucci is a delightful ball of warm and fuzzy energy who'll make your day. Dr. Rodgers is more staid but is quite humorous in his dry, intelligent way; he's a quietly competent type. The only person I don't care for (this is the aforementioned caveat) is Dr. Akhras, who could use a bit of schooling in social graces. When I first met him, he made a snarky comment about my medications at the time, and that wasn't sensitive, especially given that it was obvious from my prescriptions that things weren't great at the time. He is very competent, though, and did a good job on my retainer. Dr. Akhras strikes me as having a bit much bravado and machismo, and I sense he's not particularly fond of LGBTQIA people (or maybe he's just gruff and brusque generally), so I'm uncomfortable around him. I obviously won't book with Dr. Akhras again, but everyone and everything else are just dandy. It's a busy urban area just off Route 66/Ogden Avenue/Barack Obama Presidential Parkway, and it's wonderfully walkable for many of us. They recently were able to obtain some parking space, so that's good for drivers. I've chosen to return to my previous dentist since it's closer and they now have an orthodontist in residence, but I'd certainly recommend 34th Street Dental Care for dentistry. For orthodontics, you'll have to form your own opinions. Overall, it's pretty swell here.

The dentists and hygienists here are okay but the reception and organization are really bad. They made me wait for 1.15 hours and I couldn't get to my job on time, they didn't pay me that day, though. When I tried to complain, the doctor said to do it at the front desk... no follow up at all or even cared for my complaint.
