Dr. April Foster is a board certified pediatric dentist. She grew up in a small town outside of Pullman, Washington on a grain farm. Dr. Foster graduated from Garfield-Palouse High School and then headed to University of Puget Sound (UPS). At UPS she ran sprints and hurdles on the track and field team and got her bachelor of arts in psychology. April always knew that she wanted to work with children and in the medical field. During her time at UPS her dentist suggested she look into dentistry, at that time she found a summer job at a pediatric dental office. Working in the pediatric dental office solidified her desire to work with children and in a medical field. She attended the University of the Pacific Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco and immediately after that completed her Pediatric Dental Residency at Boston University. Dr. Foster is a member of the Montana Dental Association, American Dental Association, American Acadamy of Pediatric Dentistry, and the college of diplomats of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Foster moved to Montana in 2008 and worked at and was an owner at Missoula Pediatric Dentistry prior to opening her own practice, 3 Rivers Pediatric Dentistry. She is dedicated to be an expert in the field of childrens dentistry and regularly attends dental courses to stay up to date on all the newest practices that are backed by evidenced based dentistry. Dr. Foster and her husband enjoy hiking, biking, camping, cooking, and time with their two sons Nels and Micah, and dog Toba.
Dr. Anne Ziegler is a board certified pediatric dentist. She grew up in a small town in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. Dr. Ziegler attended The University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and studied Biomedical Engineering with a focus on Biomaterials. During undergraduate school, Dr. Ziegler was part of the Health Science Scholars and was exposed to many diverse health science opportunities and lectures. She was drawn to dentistry her Freshman year of undergraduate school after spending time shadowing students at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. Her second year of school, she started working in a research lab in the Dental School studying Hematopoietic Stem Cells, and worked there throughout undergrad and dental school earning multiple research honors and scholarships. Dr. Ziegler attended the University of Michigan School of Dentistry and went on to complete her Pediatric Dental Residency and Master's Degree at The Ohio State University Dental School/Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, OH. After spending her entire life in the Midwest, Dr. Ziegler decided to take an adventure to Alaska where she worked in Mat-Su Valley as a pediatric dentist for 2 years. It was there that she met her husband, George, and together they decided to move closer to their families and back to the lower 48 in 2015. Dr. Ziegler is a member of the Montana Dental Association, American Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and the college of diplomats of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Ziegler worked at Missoula Pediatric Dentistry prior to joining the team at 3 Rivers Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Ziegler is excited to join Dr. Foster at 3 Rivers Pediatric Dentistry and provide state of the art care for her patients. Dr. Ziegler loves adventuring in the great state of Montana with her husband George and their yellow lab Ruger. She enjoys fishing and floating the rivers, camping and hiking, skiing, reading, and traveling to new places.

3 Rivers Pediatric Dentistry has been a great experience bringing my two young girls there (2.5 yo & 3.5yo). They are so friendly, great with kids and make it a fun experience to the greatest extent possible. Appointments could be a little faster but overall great dentists and assistants!!

I'm so proud of my son no cavities today. His dental assistant was very professional and Courteous . She showed my son how to floss the right way explained everything to him and me.

Love this office! My 3 year old loves going to the dentist. They are experts in making kids feel comfortable. He was so proud of himself for doing a good job taking X-rays. The hygienist was so great with him and explained everything so he could understand and even made him giggle.

We went into the appointment with my daughter (age 6) being terrified and came out with her grinning from ear to ear. Celeste was her dental assistant and she took the time to explain everything to my daughter and make sure that she knew that she had a voice and could ask any questions that she wanted. I'm so grateful 3RPD for understanding my daughter's fear and pairing her with the highly talented and sweetest Celeste.

Terrible time management. Had to wait for an hour after our scheduled appointment before they came to do a procedure on my 3 month. Would not recommend to anyone.

6/21 My 6-yr old finally doesn't have a panic attack when he goes to the dentist anymore. We appreciate all the kindness and excellent care here and I have been telling all my parent friends to take their kids here. Thanks Celeste for being so fun, I never would have thought we would giggle our way through a dentist appointment! 6/22 Had another amazing appointment and with all the curveballs my child has thrown at them, they were so wonderful and patient. My kid who usually would break out in a sweat, now it's no big deal.

Our foster kiddo has multiple disabilities including autism, and he was very afraid to be at the dentist and afraid of doing what they were asking him to do. The staff adjusted and helped him in the ways he needed to be helped. They were very patient, kind, and accommodating and at no point did I feel unwelcome due to his fear and different level of ability than other kids his age. Karen was a very kind dental assistant and was highly encouraging and sweet. Another dental assistant named Beth and Dr. Foster also did well with him and we really appreciate it! It's not easy finding compassionate care for children with high fear and high needs, and I was grateful for how they interacted with our child.

Wonderful and caring staff, they have been so kind and understanding to us and explain my sons dental care and what I can do on my part in a way I can understand and do better every day! Theyve always helped me with mishaps or misunderstandings on my part and the quality of care for my son is of the highest quality and greatly appreciative for many years to come!

Our 7 year old daughter needed a couple fillings done recently. Dr. Foster and team made her experience very easy from start to finish. Very clean and comfortable facility as well! We highly recommend 3 rivers!

Dr. Foster is wonderful, as are all the assistants. The dentist isn't stressful when we come here! And they are working diligently to reduce waste and give prizes that won't contribute to plastic garbage. We love 3 Rivers!

We have gone there for about 4 years. Recently we had a dental emergency after hours. They were very responsive and helped me to stay calm. Doctor Foster got her in 1st thing in the AM and did a great job on my daughter's front teeth restoration after her fall. Thank you

I love 3 Rivers. I've been taking my kids here for a number of years & they're always super friendly & professional. They make dentist visits (almost) fun, which is definitely a luxury I never had as a kid. I recommend them to everyone.
