We have been using 1st Advantage for many years. If it wasn't David or Dr Behlmer. I am not sure if we would stay for that long. It was sad to hear that Dr Behlmer recently retired but we still got to see David , have a little chat and got everything checked.

This is a great office with pleasant and professional staff. There is very little wait time, if any and they are affordable. Highly recommend this dental practice.

Overall I have had positive experiences here. But, today, I went for a cleaning and did not want any X-rays taken since I've had some health issues this year that required many scans, and X-rays. They would not clean my teeth unless I consented to getting a panoramic scan and bitewing X-rays. I was in shock. They tried to tell me that it would be useless to clean my teeth without these tests. I told them I would take responsibility for my choice but they still refused. Long story short- I left without a cleaning. Pressure tactics anyone????

Staff is so friendly. Procedures are explained before and during so you know what is taking place. Hygienist is excellent. The environment is comfortable and has Covid safety protocols in effect.

One of my 6-month regular teeth cleaning was suddenly changed to a special Peridontist cleaning without communicating with me and the cleaning process had no difference than any other regular cleaning procedures but the cost code was different so my routine cleaning benefit can not cover this. I was recommended by the general dentist in this office to have a consultation with a Peridontist and after seeing the Peridontist, the decision was to monitor for future and there was no Peridontist treatment needed at this stage. The big bill after the regular teeth cleaning was a surprise to me and the good thing was that it was resolved after I raised the concern. Hope other patients don't have such experience because you will end up paying out of your pocket for regular teeth cleaning simply because you had a consultation with a specialist recommended by the general dentist in the office.

Been going here for over 15 years. Care is excellent with a very friendly atmosphere. David is great and does an excellent job both with my and my sons dental hygiene.

Very hard to assign stars. The workmanship of both the dentists and hygienists is excellent. Availability in an emergency is excellent. Office reception is friendly but a bit slow. However I find the billing practices to be incomprehensible, possibly fraudulent and the staff rude. I paid my coinsurance on the spot. After submitting it to my insurance it resulted in an overpayment on my part and they owed me a refund. Sooooo ten weeks after the fact they added $49 to my charges so that they did not have to refund any money and I again owed them more. When I called the office I was told that THEY DO NOT DO THE BILLING AND IF I WANTED AN EXPLANATION TO CONTACT MY INSURANCE COMPANY. Well, I did that and found out that they were adjusting charges to avoid paying out refunds.
