Dr. Samuel Osobu Dr. Sam completed his bachelors degree in Computer Science at Northern Illinois University IL, masters degree in Biotechnology at Rush University IL. He later went on to achieve his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from University of Illinois at Chicago IL. Dr. Sam is extremely passionate about dentistry and is committed to providing excellent dental care to his patients. He believes in using state of the art equipment and technology in providing dental care.
Dr. Sam has dedicated himself to lifelong learning through continuing education courses to ensure he is current with his dental knowledge and technology. He has completed continuing education course in implants prosthodontics and was awarded a diploma by the American Academy of Implant Prosthodontics for his outstanding achievements.
Outside of the office, Dr. Sam enjoys giving back to his community. In his free time, he enjoys volunteering, tutoring, mentoring and empowering youth. Hes a proud member of Urban Health Program and CAHMCPS Program.

After my first review, Dr Sam. Discussed my issues with him and I must say I have come to the conclusion that Dr Sam and his office is a first class operation. I do appreciate the efforts to provide top flight customer service. I'm making a reversal of my previous review, and I apologize to the offices of Dr Sam and receptionist. My second visit was great, and very professional. Also very quick! I highly recommend 162nd Street Dental for anyone in need of prompt, professional, and pleasurable service! Couldn't even keep my appointment because the office assistant can't even request dental records plus the office can't dail out of illinois so I'm a result I have to find another dentist office and all of this is an inconvenience please work on the customer service for new clients cause y'all lacking and some of us really care about our dental health. It's annoying to continue to have to reschedule due to incompetence

This office is nice and clean . I really like the receptionist, also the dentist. I'm not easy with trying new Doctors etc , yet the Dr. was nice patient and offered much detail in what I wanted . Also my appointments were as soon as possible not months out . I HIGHLY recommend this dentist especially for anyone who is impatient lol , wants to be treated nicely & a perfect job (that's me ) lol !!

Dr. Sam is so passionate about his job and it shows in his service. He walks you through everything he is doing for you. He patiently answers all your questions and he does it all with a caring and jovial personality. I travel far to see Dr. Sam every since my last dentist stopped taking my insurance and I can tell you its worth it.

Wow! I am so grateful and thankful to have located this Dentist. I have been dealing with a decayed premolar tooth issue for over 6 months. Two weeks ago I went to a dentist and he wanted to place a crown over it. Really? I knew it needed to be extracted. He did prescribed antibiotics and I was supposed to return. I decided to get a second opinion and come here. This dentist office is patient, professional and experienced. Keke and Dr. Osobu are a great team! The dentist came right in after x-rays and said it needed to be extracted. He answered all my questions. Within 5 minutes the tooth was out!!! Yes, I would recommend this dental office! Great experience.

Just left this place, I went for a cleaning since I haven't been to a dentist in years, and I was very pleased with the service and staff. Dr. Sam was very nice and informative, and easy to talk to. His staff, the woman at the Front desk was very nice as well and made me feel comfortable on my visit. I would definitely recommend this place! I will be making this my regular dentist place
