Drs. Benjamin and Alisha James were born and raised in the Willamette Valley and are ecstatic to be back home in Oregon. They both graduated from the prestigious University of Iowa College of Dentistry with Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) degrees. Collectively they have experience in both the private and public health sectors, including experience with Invisalign, endodontics, childrens dentistry, and surgery. Dr. Alisha James graduated from OHSU in Portland with a specialty certification in pediatric dentistry.
Dr. Gian Garduque was born and raised on the island of Oahu. He attended the University of Iowa College of Dentistry and Dental Clinics and graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Prior to dental school, he attended Kenyon College for his undergraduate studies and Iolani School for high school. He has experience in esthetic dentistry, fillings, crowns, endodontics, surgery, and geriatric dentistry. He is a strong advocate of preventive dentistry. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his wife and watching Formula 1.
Rachel is sister to Dr. Alisha James and is the Office Manager at 14th Ave. Dental. She was born and raised in the Willamette Valley and graduated from Portland Community College. She enjoys spending time with her husband Thomas, daughter Aubrielle and Malti-Poo Petie. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, photography and interior design. She is happy to answer all of your questions about 14th Ave. Dental.

The hygienist and most of the staff are wonderful, sweet and helpful. I have only had one issue and that is with one of the front desk representatives. There was a billing issue and instead of her helping to find a solution to the problem all she did is shook her head no, over and over again and is very argumentative instead of listening and seeing if and what could of been the issue at hand, it could of been a technical issue the day I paid with my veba card, etc and I was trying to resolve it between my veba customer service representative and with the representative at my dentist office. The veba representative was very sweet, listened attentively and was trying to figure out what had happened to resolve the issue, all while the representative at the dentist office was rude, didn't listen and just kept saying no, and shaking her head. The big picture is my veba representative is showing the payment transaction went through and the dentist office is saying it didn't, however the day the dentist office slid my card she was having technical issues anyways, and tried my card on two different computers, so long story short, I would recommend this dentist due to the other professional staff, however I find the desk representative to be highly unprofessional.

Dr. James is great! Got me worked in same day for a not so easy procedure. Made sure the work was perfect and the problem was solved before I left the office. Highly recommend Dr. James!

Dr James is a whole as dentist who knows his sh$t! Not to mention his rapping skills is on point! But honestly if you want good quality work this is place not to mention his staff is so nice! I'll never trust another dentist

I have nothing but wonderful to say about this team here. They were very helpful in the needs that I had, when other places wanted to do nothing but extract and put in implants. I visited 3 different offices in the local area before going here. These guys went through my xrays, took multiple shots, figured out a plan of attack, and worked through it considering my finances as well as my medical insurance coverage. They have awesome, state of the art equipment. Their office space as well as their work areas are kept clean and tidy. Their entire staff is a pleasure to work with and they know you by name. After a few months of work, I now have a smile that I can be proud of. These guys are so friendly, so caring and so attentive to everything that a dental group should be attentive to. It's not just about the money with this place, they will find the best route for you to take, and help you make it happen. I have more to go, but I have to admit - if you have to go to a dentist, I could not recommend a service more than these guys. It feels strange to say this, but I am looking forward to what we are able to accomplish next. Thank you all so very much. I don't know what else to say. 5 stars just isn't enough to express my gratitude and happiness with this office.

Fantastic office! Dr. James and his staff are highly skilled professionals. They are friendly, detail-oriented and practice dentistry with integrity. My kids enjoy coming here as well. I would recommend this practice to anyone.

This dental office is so beautiful and clean! The staff is very friendly and the doc made me feel so comfortable! As an anxious patient, they were so accommodating. I would highly recommend this office to any who's nervous about going to the dentist.
