Dr. Ron Ko is originally from the far Pacific Northwest (PNW), Anchorage, Alaska. He moved down to Seattle to attend the University of Washington for undergrad and left the rain to obtain his dental degree at the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health.
Dr. Ko is well versed in all areas of dentistry and is constantly partaking in continuing education to expand his knowledge of the field. He has extensive training in implants and root canals as well as fixed and removable prosthodontics (dentures, crowns, bridges). He is also very well connected with an elite group of local dental specialists (i.e. orthodontists, oral surgeons, endodontists, prosthodontists, periodontists) for any cases that may need additional love and attention.
When Dr. Ko is not at his practice, he can be seen with his family outdoors at public parks, museums, and zoos. When he is not with his family, you'll find him with a group of friends watching football, basketball, or playing a round of golf. He enjoys traveling, learning about different cultures, and searching for tasty meals.
Marcy has been a part of the 12 Dentistry team since 2001. Her well-rounded dental education includes training as a dental hygienist, dental assistant, and dental lab technician. Marcy loves her job because she enjoys developing personal connections with her patients.
Teresa graduated from South Sound Community College, where she was president of the dental assisting program. She then went on to attend Pierce College, where she received her Associates of Science degree and started working in the dental field in 1981.
In her role as our office manager, Teresa finds it rewarding to help patients overcome their fear and anxiety; as our insurance coordinator, she is committed to helping patients optimize their insurance benefits and treatment plans.
Teresa is a native of Grapeview, Washington, where she grew up on saltwater boating and water skiing. She and her husband David love nature and the outdoors and enjoy traveling with a hiking destination in mind. In her free time, Teresa also enjoys cooking, entertaining, and reading historical novels.
A native of Toms River, NJ, Colleen grew up close to the beach and definitely misses the ocean, but she has been in the PNW for 10 years and loves living here. Some of her favorite hobbies include weekend trips with her husband and pup, cooking and entertaining at home, woodworking and other creative projects, going to the gym, planning/organizing events, and of course, constant FaceTime calls with her family, most of who still live on the east coast.
Sarah has been working in the dental field since 2007 and joined 12 Dentistry in June 2020. As a dental assistant, she enjoys taking time to help her patients feel comfortable and always loves to see familiar faces on their return visits.
Sarah currently resides in her hometown of Eatonville, Washington. Outside of dentistry, she loves spending time with her three children and animals (dog and chickens!), thrifting, being creative, and weightlifting.

The dentist I had retired so I decided to give Dr. Ko a try I am so glad I did. He is kind and caring about his patients and takes the time to explain things and answer any questions. I also feel he is conservative which I really appreciate. After seeing him a few times I decided to have my daughter go to him as well and she loved him. My husband has also recently seen him and was very happy. The staff is also very friendly and helpful Dr. Ko and his staff have gained three new patients for life.

Dr Ko and his wonderful stay renewed my faith in dentistry! I had been to several corporate popular dentists and was traumatized but I was in good hands at 12 Dentistry. Dr Ko takes the time to explain any problems going on and truly cares about his patients, I will be going here for life.

I guess I'm just lucky to still have my teeth but I wanted them to look whiter for my 50th high school reunion. Dr. Ko replaced a few fillings and I'm so happy with the results! My teeth look like they did when I was in my 20's! Wish I could say the same about the rest of me. Dr. Ko and the staff are wonderful.

I had a bad tooth repair experience in an "emergency" situation a few weeks before seeing Dr. Ko. This was my first visit with Dr. Ko as my regular dentist had retired and Dr. Ko had purchased the practice. Dr. Ko and his staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. I feel Dr. Ko goes above and beyond expectations. He was very clear and open about the work he was going to do and his techniques and attention to detail were outstanding! Because of my previous bad experience, he was so very kind in doing some of the work free of charge and I received a text message later that day to make sure everything was OK. Outstanding service! Thank you to Dr. Ko and his staff.

I have been searching for a dentist's office like this one for years! The staff is super friendly and Dr Ko actually takes the time to speak with you. I really appreciated how he took the time to go over my X-rays with me and explain everything in terms I could understand. I would highly recommend going here if you are looking for a local dentist who cares about their patients!

Wow, no words can describe this Dr., staff, and atmosphere! It's the best dental experience that we've ever had. From the friendliness and ease of calling to schedule an appointment, all the way to finishing the dental procedures/work! Dr. Ko is the most caring, professional, and perfectionist dentist that I have ever seen. He was able to diagnose the exact cause of the tooth pain in an intelligent manner and treat it accordingly. Additionally, he makes sure to listen to his patients closely and addresses their concerns/problems completely. On top of all this, Dr. Ko follows up with a phone call to the patient to make sure that they are feeling well along with if we have any additional questions--something that not many dentists do! All of the staff at 12 Dentistry are friendly, kind, and do their best job every time. A dental experience that surpasses all of our previous experiences with different dental offices by a significant factor!

I've been going to 12 Dentistry (formerly owned by Dr. Michael Bailey) since I was a child (I'm 41 now). Over the years, I've seen other dentists who had been closer to where I live. I always felt like "just another patient" at those other practices, and was never quite happy with the care I received. Ultimately, I've come back "home" to 12 Dentistry. It's an hour drive from where I live, but I'd gladly drive two hours if I had to, because I couldn't be happier with the quality of care that I receive. 12 Dentistry feels like a true family practice. When I walk in the door, the atmosphere is warm and inviting..it feels like I'm getting to see old friends. Teresa at the front desk always recognizes my voice when I call, and remembers my name when I walk in door. The staff, too, are very friendly and thorough in the work that they do. And Dr. Ron Ko is incredibly professional and amazingly personable, and always goes that extra mile to make sure that I'm happy with my smile and the work that's been done during my visit. What I also appreciate is that they always have my best interests in mind. There's no high pressure sales to have procedures done. No unnecessary upselling of products or services that I don't really need. Just a genuine care for what's best for me, and I find that quality to be rare in other businesses today. Overall, it's great to be back "home" with 12 Dentistry and I can't recommend them enough.

Everyone here is so nice and helpful. They do amazing work and make sure you are comfortable. Plus they have a really nice office and the room had a big window with a nice view. I would definitely recommend this dentist to everyone. :)

I have been coming to this dentist since I was a kid and I have always have a great experience. The receptionist is so sweet and friendly, greets me every single time I walk in. They are always right on time, meaning I'm in and out very quickly. If there is ever a delay its only ever a short wait, no longer then 10mins. Dr. Ko is also very knowledgeable when it comes to his practice. He often times will explain what he is doing, as he is doing it, allowing me to feel at ease the entire time I'm in the chair. They are absolutely Supreme when it comes to kids, my sister and I have never had a fear of going to the dentist because we grew up coming here. We have both since moved out of Puyallup, yet we continue to make the 40min drive twice a year since we know we are in good hands Overall this place is a great family dentist and I would recommend it to anyone

I've been through a few dentists retiring and the new team coming in was less than great. I was referred to this office and they went through a similar change not long ago, HOWEVER, they are WONDERFUL. The staff is super friendly and does great work. The Doctor is AMAZING he is a perfectionist in the best way, since your teeth are such a visible thing. I had work done on my front teeth and he noticed imperfections I didn't see and fixed them. He also fixed shotty work done by my previous dentist(filling too close to other tooth was breaking floss) I'm beyond happy with the work and follow up and friendliness! I HIGHLY recommend!!.

I could not be more thankful for how awesome Ron and staff took care of my emergency dental situation during the holiday weekend. After calling his dentistry within 2 to 3 sentences describing what I was going through with my severe tooth ache & teeth pains he provided instant notification & a sense of relief!!! No need for a root canal & minor sedation..I can smile bright now!! I will no longer be going to see the regular dentist and my family as well will now be using their services for a lifetime. Will reccomend to ALL family & friends. Professionalism, cleanliness, outstanding & next level from the "norm" infinity stars would be given if possible! Very affordable as well. Looking! Looking forward to my next visit!!! Thank you again for saving me!!!

I was referred by a friend to Dr. Ko's office. From day one meeting everyone at 12 Dentistry was a pleasure everybody is very professional an outgoing they make you feel like family. Dr. Ko is the best Dentist I've ever been to. I had three implants done there and never any pain he is very gentle when he's working on you, you don't even know he's in your mouth. He's a total perfectionist which I like. He has all the high-tech equipment too. I am so happy with his work I would refer anyone to him because I know they would be taken care of.

I love going to Dr Koe office I have been a patient for 40 years. The staff is incredible, I just love them!!! Dr. Koe has been amazing , he is very knowledgeable and goes above and beyond what the problem is! He has called me at home after my office visits, answers all my questions , I highly recommend 12 dentistry fir a permanent home!! Thank You!!
