At Shine Pediatric Dentistry, you will truly find a dentist who loves what they do. Dr. Lynse Briney has been a dentist for 14 years and has specialized in pediatric treatment for the past seven.
Dr. Briney absolutely loves treating pediatric dental patients and believes there is something very special and fun about getting to work with kids every day. Dr. Briney is a mother to two young children, so she understands how important it is to find quality dental care for every member of your family.
Dr. Briney particularly loves that our dental office has the opportunity to change people’s minds about the dentist and to teach kids that going to the dentist can be a positive experience. Dr. Briney’s treatment philosophy is to be open and honest with our young patients and to help them learn to navigate experiences that might at first seem scary, such as getting their first dental shot.
She believes every single pediatric dental patient can be their brightest self and overcome challenges!

Dr. Briney created Shine Pediatric Dentistry to bring caring and independent pediatric dentistry to the Downers Grove community. Our dental office is small, warm, friendly, and nothing like a corporate dental chain.
Shine Pediatric Dentistry has been fully designed with children in mind. To help keep your children relaxed and comfortable, we have installed televisions in each of our exam rooms. We have chosen to focus specifically on pediatric dental patients, and our entire dental office has a very kid-friendly atmosphere. We also offer various incentives, such as prizes to our patients to help teach them the importance of regular dental care.
