ABOUT US

Panhandle Pediatric Dentistry specializes in dentistry for infants, children, and adolescents and those with special needs. Much like a pediatrician, a pediatric dentist or pedodontist is specifically trained in all aspects of dentistry for the developing child. Our pledge is to provide all children with outstanding dentistry in a caring, efficient, and enthusiastic manner.

At Panhandle Pediatric Dentistry, we have an open office policy, where parents are welcome to accompany their children throughout the dental experience. We offer the latest of dental technologies and techniques, including digital radiography which exposes the child to less radiation during x-rays. When necessary, conscious sedation and hospital dentistry are available for the very young or apprehensive child.

Our office utilizes the services of Pediatric Dental Anesthesiology Associates who will be providing in-office IV sedation for children.  For more information, please visit his website at www.pediatricsedation.com.

We are In-Network providers for most major insurance companies.

Please call us for information about your family's dental plan.

Our Services

OUR SERVICES

Routine Exams

Routine pediatric dental exams and cleanings are essential to helping your child maintain good oral health. During a routine pediatric dental exam and cleaning, our friendly dentists and dental team will check your child’s smile for signs of dental problems.

Dental Hygiene

Oral hygiene is vital for a child's development. During your child's visit, our friendly staff will educate you and your child on how to adequatley care for their teeth on a daily basis.

Dental Fillings

Fillings and crowns are the most common types of dental restorations for children. Restoration refers to returning the tooth to its original shape and function.

Fluoride and X-Rays

For decades, fluoride has been held in high regard by the dental community as an important mineral that strengthens tooth enamel, which thereby helps to prevent decay of tooth structures. Our office also provides routine x-rays to ensure your child's teeth are developing correctly.

Emergency Dentistry

Quick action can save the tooth, prevent infection and reduce extensive dental treatment. Feel free to contact our office in the event of an emergency.

Preventative Care

Preventive dentistry is the most important part of any child’s dental care program. Without appropriate preventive examinations, cleanings, and treatments, cavities and decay can quickly become a problem, marring a beautiful smile.

"I have never been to a dentist that was as kid friendly as Panhandle Pediatric Dentistry. Most rush through your appointment and don't take in consideration the emotional state of a child or fear of visiting the dentist. Panhandle is very patient and even showed great sense of hospitality to my other children that were not being treated. Everyone from the receptionist to the dentist were awesome. It truly takes a village to run a successful office, this is one!"

"[PPD] was highly recommended by my insurance company and many other parents I spoke to. This was my daughter's very first visit and I was a little nervous about it but they got us in and out in no time. They were very courteous and informative. I would highly recommend them to other parents."
