OUR DENTIST
Richard Y. Boerner, DDDS
Our general dentist, was born and raised in Southern California and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of California, Long Beach. He went on to USC where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, graduating in the top 1% of his class.
During his time spent at USC he received numerous awards including the Carl Reiter Scholarship for providing “Excellence in Cosmetic Dentistry”.
After graduating from dental school, Dr. Boerner worked in the low-income areas of Los Angeles providing dental care to needy families. He then went to work as an associate in Irvine, California in a high end dental office that focused on cosmetic dentistry. He is currently a member of USC’s faculty, and spends much of his free time teaching and mentoring dental students.
He is also a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, and the Orange County Dental Society.
