INVISALIGN
Invisalign is a technologically advanced treatment option that allows you to straighten your teeth without traditional braces. Instead of brackets and wires, Invisalign clear removable aligner trays made of patented plastic using smart track technology. Now faster and even more predictable results than traditional braces.
BRACES: CERAMIC OR METAL
Get straight teeth with clear brackets which lessen the appearance of metal brackets. Don’t worry, you can still get colored elastics if you want! Reliable and dependable metal brackets will get you or your child the beautiful smile you both deserve. Age doesn’t matter! Your new smile is waiting for you!
SURGICAL TREATMENT
Severe situations where the problem is not tooth related but is due to unusual growth patterns, known as skeletal, may need something more than just tooth movement. In these cases, surgical movement of the jaw (one or both upper and lower) may be necessary. The teeth are first straightened and the rest is taken care of by the oral and maxillofacial surgeon.
EARLY INTERVENTION
Certain teeth problems can’t wait to be treated. Early treatment includes correction of a crossbite of the back teeth and the front teeth. Severe buck teeth need to be brought back before your child fractures or loses a permanent tooth! Stop those finger sucking or tongue thrusting habits now, before it affects the growth of your little one’s teeth!
COMPLETE TREATMENT
Comprehensive treatment may be started when the patient still has a few baby teeth or all their permanent teeth as in teenager and adults of any age. Some of the problems corrected include severe protrusion (buck teeth), crossbites, crowding, spacing, deep bites and open bites. When finished, you will have a smile you will want to show off!
TMJ & SLEEP APPLIANCES
Do you have pain in your Temporomandibular joint, popping or clicking when opening? Do you keep your loved ones awake with your loud snoring? Are you tired all day even after spending a full 6-8 hours in bed? You may benefit from an appliance worn at night, customized for YOU only. Dr. Valins can study your diagnostic materials and determine which appliance or procedure is best for you.
