Do you suffer from obstructive sleep apnea?

This is kind of a tricky question due to the fact that people who experience an apnea event will often have no memory of the occurrence. This is the main reason why people can go on for years without knowing they have sleep apnea. So what is it?

Obstructive Sleep Apnea is a result of the repeated collapse of soft tissue in a person’s throat. As this happens, it blocks the airway during sleep. Some people mistake OSA with snoring but it indeed a much more serious condition. OSA differs from snoring because of the duration that oxygen is cut off from the brain and body. In essence, when a person is experiencing an Apnea event, the person is suffocating.
