Restorative, Family and Cosmetic Dentist serving Sonoma and Marin Counties

EDUCATION

Dr. Amanda Major attended Santa Clara University for college, earning cum laude honors with degrees in both Chemistry and French.

She graduated in the top of her class from the Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC, where she spent her spare time serving the dental needs of the homeless population in LA and providing free dental care for inner-city children.

In 2015, Dr. Major earned her Fellowship in Dental Implantology from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists for extended study of dental implant surgeries.

TEACHING

Her passion for learning eventually piqued an interest in teaching and inspiring the next wave of new dentists. She is honored to have had the opportunity to volunteer as restorative clinical faculty at UCSF School of Dentistry.

LEADERSHIP

In addition to working in private practice and as a staff dentist at Providence Hospital’s Children’s Dental Department, Dr. Major enjoys building relationships with patients and being active in the dental community.

She is a past president and active board member of the Redwood Empire Dental Society which serves Sonoma, Mendocino and Lake Counties.

She volunteers as a delegate for the California Dental Association House of Delegates.
