A Legacy of Exceptional Care

Drs. Creed and Spencer Rowan and their family have been a part of the Merced dental community for over 60 years.

As your local dentists, we have sponsored and coached youth sports teams, taught oral hygiene in our public schools, and helped build our community over the years. We have also benefited from the generosity of our neighbors and learned from our fellow dental professionals. As third-generation Mercedians, we know what it takes to be a part of and build this community—a lot of patience, cooperation, education, and a commitment to listening to others.

We Value Our Community

We strive to apply the lessons we have learned from our six decades as members of the Merced community to every interaction we have with our patients. We take the time to listen to our patients’ concerns and questions about their oral health. We are especially committed to listening to and working with those who are anxious about or even afraid of dental visits. And then, we take more time to educate our patients about their treatment options.

Rather than tell patients what we will do for them, we allow them to decide what treatments will work best for their situation. We think of our relationships with our patients as partnerships. We are less concerned about efficiency and productivity than we are with helping you be comfortable and involved in your care. 

A Focus on Prevention

We are interested not only in providing excellent care for our patients during their visits but also in educating them about how to take care of their own teeth and gums. At the end of each visit, we take the time to teach our patients what they can do to prevent cavities, gum loss, and bone decay.

And again, we listen to your concerns and questions. Our ultimate goal is to work closely with each patient over time to build a customized plan for a lifetime of good oral health.
