Do you offer same-day emergency dental care?
At WinningSmiles, we understand how upsetting a dental emergency can be for our patients. Urgent situations like toothaches, cracked teeth and infections can require immediate attention from an emergency dentist. We always reserve extra time in our schedule to accommodate our same-day emergency patients in Fontana, CA so that you can get the urgent attention and relief you need.

But we also recognize that dental emergencies tend to occur after regular business hours, so we’ve made it easy for our patients to access our dentists, no matter what time their emergency occurs. A member of our team is on call 24/7, so all you have to do is call our regular office number and follow the directions on the recorded message to reach us right away. Do you offer sedation dentistry?

At WinningSmiles, we offer three levels of sedation dentistry in Fontana to make it easier for patients to get the care they need without all the fear and anxiety:
- Nitrous oxide is a mild sedative inhaled through a mask. The effects take hold quickly and are gone almost as soon as we remove the mask so you can get right back to your daily schedule.
- Oral sedation requires that you take a pill before your appointment. The medication makes you drowsy, but you will remain conscious. Because the medication is stronger than nitrous and takes longer to wear off, you will need a ride to and from our dental office.
- IV sedation sends the medication directly to your bloodstream stronger effects and fast action. Many people who choose IV sedation don't remember anything following their appointment. Like oral sedation, the effects can take some time to wear off so you will need a ride.

Do you ever refer patients to specialists?
With the skill and expertise provided by several dentists and specialists at WinningSmiles, we rarely have to refer patients. Dr. Frank Finazzo and Dr. Mostafa Koperly are both skilled general dentists, and Dr. Koperly is also a Diplomate of the International Dental Implants Association. Dr. Janice Kim-Lemann is a general dentist who also has experience in forensic dentistry.
Dr. Michael Khalil is a specialist in the area of endodontics, which focuses on treating problems that arise inside the teeth and performing procedures like root canals. Dr. Paul Anderson, who holds an MD degree in addition to a DDS, is a specialist in oral surgery. His expertise includes implant placement, wisdom teeth removal, bone grafting, and other surgical procedures
