Welcome to Arrowhead Children’s Dentistry and Orthodontics, located in Glendale, AZ, a pediatric and orthodontic specialty dental office led by Dr. Jesse McGuire.

Dr. McGuire is an experienced orthodontist who is excited to build on the foundation of excellence established by our former owner, Dr. Jane Thomason. Our current patients won’t notice any significant changes, but we have added orthodontics, sedation dentistry, and wisdom teeth extractions so your children can get all the oral care they need in one comfortable, familiar location.

Dr. Tim Wilson, Dr David Jourabchi, and Dr Noel Korf are experienced pediatric dentists who have studied extensively beyond dental school and have a wealth of knowledge and expertise. They are genuinely warm and friendly and committed to helping children of all ages enjoy a lifetime of happy, healthy smiles.

Pediatric Dentistry from Infants to Teens

From your child’s first “happy” visit to braces and everything in between, we’ll ensure that your child’s smile stays happy and healthy through every stage of development. 

We provide preventive dental exams and cleanings every six months, fluoride and sealants, dental fillings, baby crowns, baby root canals, and comprehensive orthodontic treatment. Our team supports parents and caregivers by explaining how they can help their child develop positive oral health habits at home. 

Childhood dental emergencies are common with busy, active kids. If your child has a toothache, breaks or chips a tooth, or suffers a dental sports injury, please call us right away so we can provide the relief and reassurance you both need.

Orthodontics, Including Traditional Braces

Dr. Jesse’s experience and training in orthodontics allows him to offer a full range of services, including traditional braces and clear aligners for teens. Following the American Association of Orthodontists guidelines, he recommends an orthodontic exam for all children no later than age seven. This doesn’t mean your child will need braces, but it allows Dr. Jesse to determine if they can benefit from early treatment and possibly minimize the need for braces later. 

Calming Sedation Dentistry for Children

It’s perfectly normal for young children to feel anxious or restless in the dental chair, but we can help them relax with sedation dentistry. Nitrous oxide (laughing gas) and oral sedation offer different levels of relaxation to help them remain comfortable while we can treat them safely and efficiently. 

Wisdom Teeth Extraction

Wisdom teeth or third molars are the last teeth to appear starting in the late teens, and we often recommend removing them.
