I also like how they provide the at-home scanner to scan the weekly progresses of your braces. The scanner/app makes proper documentation and communication with Smile so much easier. “I am at my very 1st appointment. For context, I have a phobia of the dentist. My experience so far has been phenomenal. Over the phone, I spoke with Mark, and I did inform him of my fears. He confirmed it would not be an issue. I was assured everything would be fine, and they treat patients gently. I was greeted by Brittney. She was so warm and bubbly. She carefully reviewed the new patient paperwork with me to ensure I could easily complete the documents. While I was waiting She was positive and reassuring until I was called to the back. I was called to the back by Chelsea. Chelsea made sure to check in with me. Even though it was only photos, she went at my pace. She was so calm and patient. Her casual demeanor helped me feel relaxed and welcomed. The initial consultation was with Mark (the person I spoke with on the phone). He was kind, informative, and most of all patient. Mark was thorough in the explanations of my options. He answered every question I had. Shortly after, Dr. Stanbury came in with the specifics of my treatment. At no point was I made to feel embarrassed or ashamed. He was pleasant, funny, and informative. He even made a referral to a dentist for a cleaning. Normally, I am in tears and forcing myself through appointments. Everyone here is friendly, calm, and compassionate. I am so appreciative of the team. I’ve never been this calm in an appointment.
