Dr. Andy Powell welcomes you to Cedar Creek Dental! We are a locally-owned and operated practice that seeks to be unlike other typical dental offices. Our caring team of local residents was built around a foundation of making the patient experience the very best it can be.  We understand that patients may be anxious and apprehensive about visiting the dentist, but only trying to alleviate these thoughts and emotions is simply not good enough for us- we have this persisting idea that a visit to the dentist can be a fun and enjoyable experience! Patient-Centered Technologies

We care about your well-being and offer nitrous oxide comfort technology (laughing gas) to help you with relaxation during dental treatments if you request.

Additional technologies are focused on the latest diagnostic tools and patient comfort, including quieter treatment modalities to help create a relaxing atmosphere during your visit.

We can also take up-close pictures from inside your mouth using small intraoral cameras. We can then display these images on a television screen to show you areas of concern, help you make informed decisions about your treatment, or illustrate why a specific therapy has been recommended. 

In our dental office, it is important for us to exceed your expectations and always make sure you understand your dental treatment. If we recommend a dental crown, for example, we want to make sure you know why that is the best option for you.

We also offer cone beam imaging. This technology allows your dentist in Stanford to capture 3-D images in a single scan, a huge advantage in seeing areas that may otherwise escape detection.

Dentistry for the Entire Family

At Cedar Creek Dental, we offer the dental services that patients and family’s need most, including dentistry for children, senior citizens, and everyone in between.

Dr. Powell follows guidelines put forward by the American Dental Association, which recommends:

• Twice-yearly exams, including cancer screenings
• X-rays as needed
• Twice-yearly teeth cleaning

Our general and preventive dentistry includes but is not limited to:

• Tooth-colored fillings
• Root canal therapy
• Extractions
• Tooth replacement
• Fluoride treatments

We are also here if you decide to enhance your smile cosmetically, offering everything from tooth bonding to take-home teeth whitening, from veneers to dental implant restorations.
