About Dr. East
Dr. East was born and raised in Metro-Detroit and was in 5th grade when she decided she wanted to become a dentist. She earned her Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Michigan. After graduation, she added another year of education to her repertoire with an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Degree, provided by Tufts University, Maine Medical Center, and Community Dental. Before returning to Michigan in 2020, she was working as an associate dentist in Portland, Maine. She purchased Jim Voltattorni’s office in 2020 and is enthusiastic about serving the people of Grand Ledge and its surrounding communities.
On the personal side, Dr. East is happily married. Her kids fill the day with adventure and laughter. She enjoys watching them grow!

We are looking to add additional team members at the dental practice who have a positive attitude and willingness to learn. Depending on the role, sometimes no experience is necessary. Give us a call to learn more about what positions we have available.
COVID response
Symptom screening
We check the temperature of everyone who comes to our office– both staff and patients– according to the most up to date CDC recommendations.
We wore masks before they were the norm.
Let’s be real: the dental world is very used to working with aerosols. And we have added additional personal protective equipment to continue to keep both staff and patients safe.
Air filters
HEPA filters are in every patient room. It helps a dental office smell… well, less like a dental office. It also helps keep germs out!
