Many patients are so at ease with us that they usually don’t need any extra help to relax. But if you do, we’ve got you covered. Dr. Nelson offers gentle sedation at our Guthrie Center dental office, including nitrous oxide and oral sedation.

We use tools and products that are designed to improve your comfort. Two of the biggest complaints of the dentist are the sound of the dental handpiece and the dreaded injection.

Dr. Nelson uses electric dental drills that are the quietest available – eliminating the high-pitched squealing of regular dental drills. To make the injection as painless as possible, he uses compounded, an extra-strength topical anesthetic to numb the gums and a syringe that is specially designed to minimize discomfort.

Clean

There is a lot that goes on behind the scenes before and after your dental appointment. We use state-of-the-art equipment and procedures to sterilize our instruments. With our CDC-compliant sterilization center, you can be assured the tools we use are sterile to eliminate the spread of pathogens.
