Welcome

We are pleased to welcome you to our practice. Endodontic treatment, often referred to as root canal treatment, is a common dental procedure that saves infected or damaged teeth from having to be extracted. Successful treatment occurs in 90% of cases. The doctor will advise you if chances in your particular case are lower. This treatment, as with any medical or dental treatment, has no guarantee of success for any length of time. Often endodontic therapy is completed in one appointment, but sometimes two or three visits are necessary.

With the use of modern anesthetics, root canal therapy usually involves little or no discomfort. Occasionally you may experience some discomfort for a day or so, especially when chewing; often, cleaning of the root canals may cause inflammation of the surrounding nerves. Our goal is to provide optimum oral health care with gentleness, comfort and efficiency. Upon completion of endodontic treatment, you will be referred back to your family dentist to have your tooth restored with a durable crown or onlay.

Paperwork

We do have several forms for you to fill out prior to treatment that you can access on our website under New Patient Forms. If you desire you may fill them out and bring them to your scheduled appointment.

Reserved Time in the Schedule

Our goal is to provide quality dental care to patients. To do so, our practice reserves time for each individual's dental needs. We understand that occasionally circumstances arise that prevent you from keeping your reserved appointment. If you find it impossible to keep an appointment, please call at least 48 hours in advance so that we can treat patients with acute toothache pain. We will not reschedule short notice cancellations or no shows. Reminder Call for Treatment Appointments...We will make a reminder phone call 1 to 2 days prior to your appointment. Please make sure to provide us with the best number to contact you at.

Fees and Payments

Our fees are meant to be fair and reasonable. We will do our best to estimate the cost for services prior to delivering care. We collect in full on the day of service for all office consultation visits. Cash, check, Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express are accepted, and we offer CareCredit as well. You may apply for CareCredit online at www.carecredit.com or by application in our office.

Insurance

As a courtesy to you, our office will submit charges for your services to your dental insurance. To help with any processing problems, it is important that you update us on any insurance changes. Dental insurance is intended to aid in the cost of dental treatment. Most plans do have a co-payment, a deductible, and some procedures have no coverage. You, the patient will be responsible for any balance after insurance pays. Thank you in advance for your cooperation. Thank you for selecting us to provide your endodontic needs.
