I had a family friend dentist growing up and after moving away felt I would never be able to replicate the same level of personalized care and trust. (I bounced around to different dentists and didn't realize how important trust was until I ended up needing 3 root canals after a dentist I was seeing didn't seal my teeth properly and I got cavities under every tooth he had drilled...). That's what brought me to Dr. Maria, and I feel so lucky to have found her. Her staff is really nice, the office has massage chairs, and most importantly she is a true expert and takes time for her patients. I had a cap come off this past weekend and she replied to my email promptly (7am on a Saturday), thoroughly answered my questions, and offered to squeeze me in right away. I had the cap done while she was out on maternity leave and she even offered to redo it if it comes off again at no cost. Dr. Maria is exceptional! read less

I started there because it took my insurance and was very close to where I worked at the time. I ended up leaving my previous job about two weeks after my first appointment with her. My experience with Dr. Vasilakis and the Dental Hygienists was so positive that I have chosen to stay a patient even though the office is no longer in a convenient place for me. The staff here are friendly and helpful, and it is always easy to schedule an appointment. Definitely helps that they are open early in the morning some days for those of us who are busy from 9-5. All you need to know is that Dr. Vasilakis takes really good care of her patients, as do the rest of her staff, and I would highly recommend this office to anybody. read less

Dr.Maria herself is wonderful! So professional and nice.

I don't know if Jamie still works there (I think that's her name) but she was great.

The office and examination rooms or sparklingly clean and some of the chairs massage. So lovely.

It's right on the 57 bus and parking is pretty readily available on street. The 86 bus also goes right down the street so those in Cambridge have no excuse!

They have an amazing referral system, too. I haven't paid for a cleaning in a while because I just keep referring new patients to them. I will continue to see her even after I move away from the city, I'm sure. read less

I just came back from my bi-annual dental cleaning and, as usual, I am very happy with the experience. Dr. Maria is great and extremely helpful and thorough. The staff at the front desk are very friendly and efficient; and the oral hygienists are also very nice and professional. I used to hate going to the dentist's, even for cleanings, but now that I have found this office, I don't hesitate anymore. I had tooth pain recently, and they were able to squeeze me in that same week. Don't let the fact that the office is on the first floor of a two-family house fool you. The office is very clean and the dental equipment seems to be up to date (however, I don't know anything about dental equipment, so I may be wrong), but the examination rooms have massage chairs and are clean. The waiting room is excellent with water, a Keurig machine, all sorts of magazines, books for the kids, great interior decor. I appreciated their swift response - they were able to see me the same day and one of their dentists on staff set me up with a new filling. It turns out that this filling was one they had done for me just six months prior. Since their work is guaranteed for a full year beyond the date of service, my new filling work was free of charge, which took some of the aggravation out of the whole experience. Thanks! 🙂 read less

I get nervous at the dentist in general and she's very good at explaining what is being done and answering questions to ease my nerves. She's never pushy about having anything done that isn't necessary and even offers suggestions to help keep me out of the dentist office. Despite my hardest efforts, I've always had cavity prone teeth and she was the first to suggest a Ph balancing mouthwash, which has worked wonders. You can tell she cares about her patients! read less
