Lake Garner, DMD
Dr. Lake Garner has had experience as a local dentist since 1996. He is a lifelong area resident and has been married to his wife, Michelle, for over 20 years. They have three children and he is very active in community and local charities, including the Pink Ribbon Fund and Hub City Humane Society.
Dr. Garner attended the University of Mississippi Medical Center School of Dentistry, graduating in 1996. Before dental school, he completed his undergraduate education at the University of Southern Mississippi in 1992. Dr. Garner is an active member of the American Dental Association and Mississippi Dental Association.
Margaret Nichols, DMD
Dr. Margaret Nichols attended The University of Mississippi Medical Center School of Dentistry and has practiced general dentistry since 2010.
Prior to dental school, she graduated Summa Cum Laude from The University of Southern Mississippi, majoring in Biological Sciences.
Currently, Dr. Nichols is an active member of the American Dental Association, Mississippi Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Dental Lifeline Network, Mississippi Calligraphy Guild, and First Baptist Church, among other organizations.
Originally from Hattiesburg, Dr. Nichols and her husband, Jonathan Nichols, are both members of the dental profession and have been married since 2010.
Burke Ellzey, DMD
Dr. Burke Ellzey is a practicing general dentist in his hometown of Hattiesburg, MS. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Southern Mississippi, majoring in Accounting.
After college, he graduated from University of Mississippi Medical Center School of Dentistry where he earned his doctorate in dental medicine. Dr. Burke is an active member of the American Dental Association, Mississippi Dental Association, and Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Burke enjoys golfing and spending time with family. He is also a supporter of Southern Miss athletics. Go Eagles!

Abby did a spectacular job cleaning my teeth. It was a painless experience. She and the Dentist were very friendly and explained in detail what my previous dentist didn't. I wondered if all the positive reviews on Google were fake, but I can assure you they are legit.

Dr. Garner and his staff have always gone above and beyond when I am at their office. I have been a patient for over 20 years and he treats me like a family member. I was suffering with undiagnosed periodontal disease. Was so embarrassed that my breathe was horrible I went to other dentist asking for help. Only left feeling disappointed and hopeless. Dr. Nichols knew immediately how to help me and resolve my issue. I'm so very thankful. Misty scaled my teeth, immediately I now longer tasted blood from my gums. She took her time and provided excellent care. My breathe smells great!My gums no longer bleed when I brush, or floss my teeth. I recommend you bring your whole family there for dental care...I am.My gums and teeth can't thank them enough!!

We love Garner & Nichols Dental!! They take the time to explain things to the patient or mom of patient. My youngest had a bad experience at another dental clinic I called Garner & Nichols Dental office they got us right in made him feel important. They took their time with him. Cissy was great!! She talked to him and held his hand the whole time. Cissy always has to be in his room from then on or if she can't be in there she always stops by and sees him.

Our family had used Garner Nichols Dental group many years ago (I think it was just called Garner Dental back then) and we really liked them but since my husband was in the military and we had moved around several times, we had to go to other dentist offices! And now that we are back in town, we are definitely going to go back to Garner Nichols Dental to get that professional looking smile we all want!!

The staff here is wonderful. Expect to be called back shortly after or right on time for your scheduled visit. Dr. Nichols and Brittney are such a wonderful team to have performing your treatment, and they are so kind. The visits are not long at all, which is definitely a plus. Although you're not there for long, you dont feel rushed. I actually look forward to coming for a bit of relaxation. Everyone is so helpful and works together to make sure you have a pleasant visit time after time. I can't recommend another clinic as highly as I do this one.

Dr. Garner would be fun to watch through the day regardless. However, Dr. Garner and his entire staff are professional and proficient. I always appreciate a clean, safe, and pleasant environment, especially where any aspect of healthcare is concerned! One specific thing, no one likes surprises, especially when it comes to BILLS! Dr. Garner's team has, from my first visit there, made sure I had the information I needed to make informed conscientious decisions about my (and my child's) dental health. This means before a procedure is done, I know what it will cost, what my insurance can be expected to pay, and what options I have for treatment and payments, if necessary. This means a lot to me, as well as the friendly atmosphere. They are always happy to see me! Thanks guys!!!

Although you're not there for long, you dont feel rushed. I actually look forward to coming for a bit of relaxation. Everyone is so helpful and works together to make sure you have a pleasant visit time after time. I can't recommend another clinic as highly as I do this one.

Great place, I needed a tooth pulled and they worked me in that day and the dentist removed my painful tooth surgically in minutes, and he was very good and they were affordable, thanks again for your services

Dr. Garner would be fun to watch through the day regardless. However, Dr. Garner and his entire staff are professional and proficient. I always appreciate a clean, safe, and pleasant environment, especially where any aspect of healthcare is concerned! One specific thing, no one likes surprises, especially when it comes to BILLS! Dr. Garner's team has, from my first visit there, made sure I had the information I needed to make informed conscientious decisions about my (and my child's) dental health. This means before a procedure is done, I know what it will cost, what my insurance can be expected to pay, and what options I have for treatment and payments, if necessary. This means a lot to me, as well as the friendly atmosphere. They are always happy to see me! Thanks guys!!!
