Meet The Dentist
Dr. Pom
Dr Piyanut Itarut, better known as “Dr Pom” is a dedicated dentist serving the community of Atlanta, GA. Dr Pom received her Bachelor degree from University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Master degree from Georgia Institute of Technology in architecture. Because of her sincere desire to help others, she went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Medicine from Medical College of Georgia and graduated in the top of her class. Dr Pom believes in treating her patients like a family and providing exceptional dental care in a relaxed environment.
With emphasis on prevention, she is committed to educating patients on how to maintain a healthy oral care. She is a firm believer in continuing education training in order to stay up-to-date on the most advanced technologies and procedures in the dental industry.
Throughout the years, she received various honors, scholarships, and awards for her academic achievement, extracurricular activities and professional conduct. She is also an elected alumni member of a national dental honor society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon and a member of Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and the Georgia Dental Association.
Dr Pom is bilingual, fluent in English and Thai language. During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She loves to travel and enjoys swimming and hand sketching.
