Dr. William Parris, a highly skilled orthodontist, earned his degrees from Christian Brothers College and the University of Tennessee, College of Dentistry. With over 35 years of experience in Memphis, he has treated 8,000+ patients and trained 165 orthodontists. Actively involved in dental associations, he's an Associate Professor and Director of UTHSC's Orthodontic Craniofacial Anomaly Program. Board Certified in Tennessee and Arkansas, Dr. Parris specializes in cleft lip and palate treatment, runs a NAM clinic, and actively contributes to research and lectures in the field

Dr. William Parris has been a dedicated part-time educator at the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry since 1985, actively engaged in teaching dental students and providing lectures to both pediatric dental and orthodontic graduate programs. In his role as the clinical director for craniofacial orthodontic patients at the dental school, he has played a crucial role in mentoring and supervising residents. Over the years, Dr. Parris has made significant contributions to the education of over 200 pediatric and orthodontic residents, sharing his expertise and fostering the growth of future dental professionals.

He has actively participated in various international medical dental mission clinics in Central America, China, and Ethiopia. Locally, he contributes to the Mid-South Mission of Mercy each year, providing free dental services to the Memphis area, and volunteers at the Christian Mobile Dental Clinic. Additionally, Dr. Parris annually runs the St. Jude Memphis Half Marathon, leveraging his efforts to raise funds for the renowned St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. His dedication to philanthropy extends across both local and global communities.
