ABOUT US
We are a dental office in the small town of Downey, Idaho. This office was opened by Dr. Porter Sutton, Dr. Stephen Sutton’s father. He opened our door to the Marsh Valley area in 2003. Dr. Stephen Sutton entered the practice in 2006. Since the beginning, we have grown to over 3,900 active patients from more than 10 different cities. We welcomed Dr. Rob Perkins in January 2017 and are thrilled to have him as a part of our team.
OUR SERVICES
Preventative Dentistry
Along with exams, we provide professional cleanings to remove plaque and tartar buildup. This cleaning goes beyond daily brushing and gets in between the teeth and gums to remove anything that brushing and flossing may have missed.
Basic Restorative
When bacteria and tartar buildup remain on teeth, they can begin to decay, which forms a hole or “cavity” in the tooth. We provide fillings to stop the advancement of the cavity and preserve the tooth. These are done with clear resins that blend in with the color of your tooth and virtually painless.
Teeth Whitening
Even with regular, proper teeth brushing, our teeth can be stained yellow from coffee, tea, and acidic foods. Our teeth naturally yellow as we get older. We offer tooth whitening to get your teeth to a desired shade of white. We use Sensational Whitening products to reduce sensitivity while protecting your enamel.
Implant & Crown Restoration
Sometimes teeth become too broken down to fix with a filling and may require placement of a crown for strength. We use the latest material in aesthetic dentistry to provide you with the strongest and best-looking crown possible. If you have missing teeth there are a wide variety of technologies to restore spaces in your mouth, including (but not limited to) implants.
Sleep Apnea TREATMENT
One of the biggest contributing factor to Sleep Apnea is a restricted airway commonly caused by a mispositioned jaw which also causes snoring. If the airway is restricted and results in a decrease in oxygen is can cause a sleeping disorder. A lower jaw can naturally be set further back than normal which can also cause and obstructed airway. Here at Marsh Valley Dental, your underlying problems can be treated with Vivos, a highly effective appliance.
Sealants
A dental sealant protects the enamel of the teeth and provides an extra barrier between the teeth and sugary or acidic substances. A thin layer of resin material inflowed into the biting surfaces of the teeth and then bonded to the tooth to provide protection for many years to come.
CLEAR ALIGNERS
Clear aligners are a modern and effective alternative to traditional metal braces. They are custom-made, clear plastic trays that fit over your teeth and gradually shift them into the desired position. Unlike traditional braces, clear aligners are virtually invisible, comfortable to wear, and can be easily removed for eating and cleaning. They are a popular choice for people who want to straighten their teeth in a discreet and convenient way. They are a great option for anyone looking to achieve a beautiful and confident smile.
Nitrous
Sedation with nitrous gas is available for those who get anxiety about going to the dentist. If you are interested in nitrous, ask us for more information to determine if it is right for you and your procedure.

I was born and raised in Robin, Idaho. I graduated from Marsh Valley High School in 1995 (of course the best class ever.). I graduated from Case School of Dental Medicine in 2006. I have been in this office since 2006 as well.
Dr. and Mrs. Perkins
We are from Springville, UT and have owned a practice there for 19 ½ years. My wife and I have moved to McCammon. I have been practicing at Marsh Valley Dental since January 2017. I am really enjoying getting to know the area and the people here.
