I’m the kind of woman who is not stupid, not meek, and who has a keen eye for detail; this is code for - I’m annoying -... just so you know the type of personality writing this review… I had a thoroughly joyful time with Dr Marsh and his staff today! There was much laughter combined with absolute expertise which made for a very relaxing experience and I felt confidently at ease in the hands of Dr Marsh’s competence. Discussing price points with him and the staff was comfortable and my quote for a 5 tooth bridge was very reasonable particularly given Dr Marsh’s obvious skill level. Awesome weekend emergency careAs with some other reviewers, I had a dental emergency while vacationing in Sedona. A... crown came free while at an early dinner. A quick Google search brought up Dr. Daniels. I called and left a message, but as it was late Saturday afternoon, I continued to search for other local options, which after investigation didn’t appear as good as Dr. Daniels. So, I was glad that Dr. Daniels got back to me a little while later and was able to see me late Sunday AM.Given this was an emergency situation, I’d have been happy with most any competent dentist, but right away there are indicators that Dr. Daniels is more than just competent. As other reviewers have mentioned, he’s got state of the art equipment – I noticed a panoramic x-ray machine, which is uncommon. He also opened his office himself – without an assistant or other staff – and did all the intake forms himself (and at the end of my visit, printed out a claim form for me to send to my insurance company, even providing an envelope and a stamp). Then in the chair, Dr. Daniels gave a step-by-step preview of what he’d do. As he proceeded, there was some minor complexity in reattaching my crown (my crown turned out to have a small perforation in it that led to localized discoloration in the tooth, which Dr. Daniels determined wasn’t decay); Dr. Daniels used some of his state of the art equipment – a dental camera so I could see exactly the location and scale of discoloration that he was seeing, and Dr. Daniels made notes of his observations (which he printed out) so I could take them to my regular dentist. Crown reattached (with the tiny perforation sealed by dental cement), my bite felt exactly the same (and still does ten days later).After Sedona, I continued on to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon, where dental options would have been very limited if the crown had popped free a day or so later. So very appreciative that a dentist of Dr. Daniels skill made time on a weekend, and at short notice. Hopefully you don’t have a dental emergency on a weekend, but if you do, hopefully Dr. Daniels will be available.read more

Dr. Daniels saved my vacation!I had a tooth extraction in Ohio several days prior to leaving for a family vacation in... Sedona. On my first day in Sedona (Christmas Day), the extraction site became significantly painful. I couldn’t sleep or eat. By the end of the weekend, I was in excruciating pain. Dr. Daniels was recommended by one of the staff at the resort we were staying in. I called his emergency line as his office was closed for the week (the week between Christmas and New Year).Dr. Daniels came into his office the day I called. He diagnosed me with a dry socket. Unfortunately, it wasn’t an easy fix and required me to come in each day for treatment. Dr. Daniels was extraordinarily thorough, explained everything he was doing and why, and even contacted my Oral Surgeon in Ohio to ensure continuity of care. Dr. Daniels texted me each night to see how I was feeling and to come up with a plan of treatment. He provided me with detailed notes to submit to my dental insurance company for reimbursement and also was upfront regarding the cost of treatment.The care I received from Dr. Daniels was amazing and allowed me to enjoy my family vacation. He was kind and patient. He was personal yet professional. He went above and beyond to make sure that I was okay. I highly recommend Dr. Daniels and wish he had a practice in my hometown!read more

At first glance, this office and its staff appear state-of-the-art. The receptionists, dental hygienists, and even Dr.... Roy Daniels himself were pleasant, welcoming, charming even. That's because most SCAM ARTISTS are. I booked a new patient appointment for a teeth cleaning, and what I got when I left over an hour later was: no teeth cleaning and a BILL for services I neither asked for or consented to. I have commercial insurance that they assured me they took and covered my appointment. I was subjected to X-rays and flash photography that I did not ask for. I came for a simple teeth cleaning, and ended up with a terrible head-shot that they charged me 100s of dollars for. I will be reporting this crook of a practice to the State Board of Dentistry so other people are not subjected to their criminal enterprise.read more

Just as we were heading off on vacation to beautiful & peaceful Sedona, a dental issue brought significant pain to my... husband. We knew it wasn’t going to wait until we returned home. Fortunately, we found Dr. Daniels online and after reading all the great reviews, we felt that we had found the right dentist to address this issue & immediately called his office. We felt confident that IF my husband could be seen on such short notice, that he would receive great care and that’s exactly what occurred!My husband was able to get in the following morning. While on vacation, my husband began to experience severe tooth pain during the night and continued into the morning. I... called Dr. Daniels office for an appointment and they were able to get us in at 10am that morning. Dr. Daniels examined my husband and also consulted with our home dentist to work together to resolve the issue. He stated that if my husband had pain during the night again, my husband was to call him so he could come into the office to examine him again. Thankfully, nothing needed to be done while on vacation and the pain was controlled with OTC meds and eventually resolved itself. I appreciated that extreme measures weren't suggested that could have been costly and time-consuming. Dr. Daniels even followed up the next day with a phone call to be sure everything was fine. I don't wish anyone to have to consult a dentist while on vacation, but, if you do, Dr. Daniels is the dentist to go to for help! Great office and dental staff also! My appointment was scheduled for 1:10. I arrived at 1:05 and after a friendly hello, temperature check I was taken... straight to the area for my teethe cleaning to take place. Julia the dental hygienists was with me right away. Reviewed the information from my first meeting with Dr. Roy and then reviewed proper brushing and flossing. Cleaned my teethe in less than 30 minutes. She also found a cavity that we had not discovered in my first visit that will need attention. Check out was quick including setting next cleaning.So in a nutshell, great friendly caring efficient staff made this a very pleasant experience “well as good as a teethe cleaning could be”. I called Dr Daniels on his emergency line on Friday evening and he got back to me that night and saw me the next... morning in his office even though it was a holiday weekend! My permanent retainer had come off part of the back of my teeth and the wires were poking out and he was able to buff it smooth so it didn’t poke my tongue anymore :) I can’t wait til Covid quarantine is over so I can go see him for a regular teeth cleaning. I had the good fortune of finding Dr Daniels while I was in Sedona. His 5 star reviews caught my eye. Time in the... lovely waiting room was minimal but while there I checked out some retro items like a manual typewriter and a dial telephone! He and his team take time to explain not only what they are doing but why they are doing it. Dr Daniels has state of the art equipment and is committed to doing the best job possible. He spent extra time working on my problem tooth until he was satisfied. He is respectful with his staff and it's clear they have a good working relationship. During my first visit with the hygienist, Julia, she had me explain my current dental care routine and show her how I brushed/flossed. She made corrections and then asked if I had any questions. I was there for about an hour and left with a new commitment to keeping my teeth healthy. I even booked my next 6 month cleaning appointment!read more
