Welcome to The Dental Studio of Iowa, established and operated by Dr. Connor Elmitt and Dr. Jonathan Karch.
Dr. Elmitt and Dr. Karch are natives of Johnston, and during their years away at school, they both envisioned returning home and giving back to the community that helped raise them. That dream has become a reality, and today they are excited to provide friends and neighbors with warm and supportive care in a brand-new, state-of-the-art dental office.

This technology allows Dr. Elmitt and Dr. Karch to plan procedures like implant placement, dental extractions, root canals, and orthodontic treatment with a high degree of precision that delivers the most favorable outcomes.
Most people have places they’d rather be than in a dental office. But we aim to make your experiences with us so comfortable and uncomplicated that you’ll never want to skip an appointment again. We offer music and TVs with Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Hulu in every treatment room. If you would prefer to drift away during your treatment, we also offer calming nitrous oxide and oral sedation for your complete comfort.
